There is a growing trend in Pakistani Media to avoid discussing anything which is detrimental to its National interests.

Any person who airs his views which are not in conformity of already laid down National narratives is labelled as Anti-National.

Every Pakistani Channel has started muting the uncomfortable statements while PDF is also started to take down threads which debate such subjects.

From Blacked Out speech of Raj Nath Singh, Pakistan is fast approaching the self imposed censorship of its social media where her criticism by MODI on Independence Day speech is not allowed on PDF.

Is this Ostrich like approach serve any purpose ?

Reading your post above, I honestly recommend that you go back to making those lovely graphics instead!! :P

And back on topic. Censorship in Pakistan has almost reached the absolute. Look what happened to Hamid Mir of Geo News who tried to bring out the truth but was attacked by...well no prizes for guessing whodunit!

No wonder our Pakistani friends on PDF and the Pak media only reproduce the propaganda dished out by the ISPR. Dare they do otherwise. Life is precious.....

The Two nations theory haunts us to date. Quaid knew the implications and tried to negate it in his first ever speech to the constitutional assembly. However, unfortunately the Movli and Establishment drew their power from the ideological belief based on two nations theory. The most horrific implications of the theory started to appear when the religion was used as an instrument to pursue national interest in 1980s and onwards. Pakistan needed one nation theory after the independence but Jinnah's efforts were undone by the powerful circles and result is the dilemma we face even todate where religion now drives national and political interest.
