if Iran wanted to milk Iraq we would go after the war compensation, they owe us around +400 billion dollars for 8 years of war. it means Iraqis should work for two years and give us every single dollar they make in this two years (Iraqi GDP is around 200 billions). no sane mind would try to destroy his ally and we are not trying to. if Iraq thrives our position would anchored not other way around.
