Point well made. That configuration is very odd though, why use an unpowered munition for a UAV? Can't say that I see anything gain from skipping a simple rocket motor assembly. The weapon would be lighter and somewhat cheaper but that doesn't seem very worthwhile given the slower time-to-target.

Yes,tho I can see the point for smaller drones where payload weight is a big factor,theres even pictures in this forum showing one of irans newer small drones,the hamaseh,equipped with 2 small glide bombs.Interestingly iran doesnt appear to be alone in doing this as I`ve seen a few similar drone launched glide bomb weapons
