The question is not if the submarine have the capability to carry missile . the question is if we are capable of building such missiles. I'm sure when our submarine launched cruise missile became operational we see our Kilo subs also are capable of firing them.

Later series Fateh will have AIP, apparently Stirling technique.

That and perfection of sound damping techniques will make them quite deadly assets.

But as far as rubber sound damping techniques we know that computerized acoustic analysis was used in the Fateh, this should give it a generation jump as trail and error empiric knowledge is not the only path anymore.

Its not the missile thats the problem,indeed using the torpedo tube launched buoyant capsule method iran could launch a few of its existing cruise missiles this way.The best one would probably be based on the original kh55/soumar design with the drop down engine configuration and the extended range of the turbofan,another option would be redesigning the current fixed toloue turbojet powered hoveyzeh cruise missile to use a drop down toloue without an intake or exhaust duct just like the soumars turbofan.

The buoyant capsule is pretty much like a hollow torpedo casing,its weighted so it will broach the surface at an angle allowing the cruise missiles booster to eject it.

My guess is that they closed Ghadir production line and convert it to Fateh production line.
the experienced workers and engineers know are working on new submarine and that mean saving in the human resources and facilities.
the developer engineers also now shift to new project which is 1200 - 1600 ton Besa't Submarine.

I believe we don't need to build more ghadir sub, we just need to upgrade old ghadirs to more capable versions.

while the superstructures of the frigate seem complete, the axes and relative propellers (white arrows) are not yet installed.
Perhaps the ship is still waiting for marine engines?

Is nt it a type of maneuvering thruster considering its size?
