besat 1300 ton submarine should be under development and there will be an 3200 ton submarine too, but what we know now is that the second Fateh submarine is under construction until there is 20 Fateh submarines.

Does anyone remember the size differential between Fateh and Besat? I suspect Besat follows next?

- Single hull rubber damping techniques
- Mobility/Propulsion based submarine warfare as compared to static Ghadir
- Black color due to deep operation

From Nahang to Fateh. This is the biggest leap, upscaling to Besat or the 3000T heavy submarine will be easier.

One of the few projects that were not directly based on a foreign design. From that point we can only hope that many foreign subsystem technologies had been captured... Re-inventing the wheel is seldom an effective strategy.

well fateh is 593 ton it has an Length: 48 m (157 ft), Range: 6,700 km (3,600 nmi; 4,200 mi) at 8_11 knots,
Endurance: 35 days, Armament: Torpedoes (4 Torpedo Tubes), Missiles, Sea mines and Fateh class subs can operate more than 200 meters below the sea surface.

Besat submarine

well Besat will be more than 1300 ton it has an Length: 60 m (197 ft), Range: ~ 13000 km (6,900–8,600 mi) at the speed: 12_20 knots,
Endurance: ~45 days, Armament: Torpedoes (6 Torpedo Tubes), Missiles, Sea mines and Besat class subs can operate more than 300 meters below the sea surface.

the photos of the launch of the Fateh submarine in the shipyard north of Bandar Abbas, showed another surprise, as you can see in the red circle another frigate is almost completed.

I wonder if this will be the only Fateh submarine or if Iran will build more. I think a minimum of 7-10 are needed to supplement the Ghadir’s in PG and Arabian Sea.

while the superstructures of the frigate seem complete, the axes and relative propellers (white arrows) are not yet installed.
