The second engine (on the right) is a Russian RD-33 (Mig 29) ...

... or possibly an RD-93 variant (e.g. on JF-17)

But I think RD-33. See e.g. s-shaped tubing along front-side, n-shaped tubing along the side near afterburner.

Our DM said another turbojet with higher thrust is under development !

I think he is talking about this :

Actually, it does look like a Tumansky R-11/R-13/WS-13F a lot

R-11 is the engine of early Mig 21s
R-11F-300 (MiG-21F/G 'Fishbed-C') or R-11F2S-300 (MiG-21FL 'Fishbed-C',)

Tumansky R-13F-300 or R-13F2-300 turbojet engine (later Mig 21, like MiG-21MF 'Fishbed-J')

These are of course very similar to WP13F 'copies' used on Chinese J-7s.
But in the above and bolow (top) you see better what it looks like with afterburner attached.

R-11 again

WS-13F again

I think they are working on a WP13F clone !

But i don't know why !!!
They may, but not for a passenger jet.
Dr. Manteghi on kish airshow 93:
تمرکزمون روی موتور هواپیماهای ام دی هست که این خطش رو در حال راه اندازی هستیم و اولین محصولاتش ان شاءالله تا قبل از پایان امسال تقدیم خطوط هواپیمایی میکنیم

What makes you think that (what displayed items)?

Differently: if you have to make all spares yourself, eventually you can built a whole engine (provided you manage to replicate all original parts)....

ok, so when we can expect first fully made iranian jets in they sky?
guessing end of next decade?

Dont hold your breath

Better wish for domestic jet UCAVs and chinese turboprops UAVs , which Iran is hopefully going to be able to acquire

There is literally no reason why Iran would buy Chinese UAVs. We can make our own.

The problem is, engines with turbine core , are no childish game

I am not undermining iranian efforts, but chinese engine R&D, had a major leap forwards in last decade

In order not to be a dependant of anyone, Iran should make a 100 % commitment in specific engine niche, where for example, turboprop and helli turboshaft share same core

Smaller and medium turboprop and turboshaft engines should be iranian niche

Iran has no technological barrier to building small turboprop engines, which are the only size required for UAVs. And anyway, for now Iran's wankel engine powered UAVs are doing just fine.

seems you lag behind latest updates bro... Iran is now building turbojets for light and semi-heavy fighter jets and smaller turbofans for cruise missiles... Iran started mass production of some civil engines too... wankle or ordinary piston engines and turbojets for UAVs are already produced and installed... Next step is turbofan engines for jets and UCAVs..

The material, super alloys and advanced casting tech is no barrier for sometime now... Iran has everything it needs and she is on the right track... It is only a matter of time for Iran to become a commercial producer of latest aero engines... All this, while nobody, even the so called friends called Russia or China is helping Iran with it... Iran is solely self reliant...

btw, Iranian programs on jet engines are not matured overnight... It is nearly a decade since we touched the untouchable...

Wankel and piston engines are ok, and their advantage is their relatively widely available

But, since the 2000, drones matured as surveillance platform. UAV should be more and more bring attack capabilities among the list of theirs features. Few small quided missiles on UAV like Shaheed 129 or Wing Loong are ok, but more is required on a battlefield with growing insurgency

UCAVs like Dassault Neuron, BAe Taranis are a perspective, of quite some time, due to the various reasons. And turboprops are generally "extension" of piston driven UAVs, since they share for example aerodynamical configuration, and some other features. Their payload, is twice and more heavier than the one of piston engine drones, enabling them to deploy even cluster bombs. That implies, they are capable of replacing conventional attack aircraft, with much lesser cost of deployment and more flexible use

Implying, since turbofan drones gain their maturity, turboprops should be the highest iranian priority

Just imagine tens of these drones hovering over syrian battlefeld, and striking them with cluster and tv quided bombs and proceed with surveillance, thereafter

Piston engine drones, cant provide bomb delivery, which turboprops can
