if only other countries around Caspian sea were as active as us on this regard

I think Russia also had similar actions in past.

budget of our guys for these projects was less than $ 4 million with all subsidies in place ( food , energy and ... ) .without subsidies it might be less than $ 10 million.

Our fishermen will catch way more than $ 10 m worth of fish each year.

Official: Iran signs $4 billion services deal with Iraq

Iraq relies on Iran for natural gas to generate electricity.
Iran has concluded a $4 billion contract in the field of exporting technical and engineering services with Iraq, board director of the Iranian Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Products Exporters’ Association (OPEX) has said.
The contract is on course to offset part of the shortfall which has arisen in Iran’s exports to Iraq in the field of technical and engineering services, futures, production and medical treatment over the past year.
“In the eight months of this year [beginning on March 20], exports to Iraq, except for electricity, totaled $4.7 billion, down by $1.4 billion compared to the same period last year,” Hamid Hosseini said.
The official touched on shocks to the Iraqi market and uncertainty over the formation of government in the Arab country last year, saying he expected Iraqi imports to increase in the next four months.
It is expected that Iran exports to Iraq will reach $8-9 billion, Hosseini said.
Iraq’s new prime minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani paid a day-long visit to Iran on Tuesday and was received by President Ebrahim Raeisi who expressed hopes of bolstering ties.
Raeisi said banking, finance and wider business topics were also discussed and that talks between the two allies "will help to resolve bilateral problems".
Sudani thanked Iran for its continued deliveries of gas and electricity, which have been in short supply in Iraq, while he also pointed to discussions on a "mechanism" to enable Iraq to pay Iran for these services.
Iraq relies on Iran for natural gas that generates as much as 45 percent of its 14,000 megawatts of electricity consumed daily. Iran transmits another 1,000 megawatts directly, making itself an indispensable energy source for its Arab neighbor.
The US has had to repeatedly extend sanctions exemption by 45, 90 or 120 days, to allow Baghdad to import Iranian energy, but it is unhappy with close relationship and trade between Baghdad and Tehran.
Years of war following the 2003 US invasion have left Iraq’s power infrastructure in tatters and a deficit of some 7,000 megawatts.
In the past, officials in Baghdad have said there is no easy substitute to imports from Iran because it would take years to adequately build up Iraq’s energy infrastructure.
They have said American demand acknowledges neither Iraq’s energy needs nor the complex relations between Baghdad and Tehran.
Iraq also imports a wide range of goods from Iran, including food, agricultural products, home appliances, air conditioners and car parts.

Sir with all due respect , Iran was full of problems during Mr Ruhani's government and it is still full of problems.

Steel production is a good indicator of a country progress..watch this time laps video on steel production.. there was a time that Iran did not produce one gram of steel now Iran is No 10..soon to be No.7

Watch Iran's Iron Ore production..

Watch Iran's natural Gas reserves as they get discovered

And the oil reserves...Iran did lots of discoveries after the war.

and finally oil production...how the sanction has affected the oil production in iran

Iran Exports $ 9 billion dollars "OIL PRODUCTS" this year
Happy to see Iran is moving away from selling "Crude" oil to "Oil Products"..note: oil products are not petrochemicals and are made in OIL refineries
What are oil Products:

The value of Iran’s exports of oil products reached 6 billion dollars over the past eight months, despite the draconian US sanctions in place against the country’s energy sector.

Here is the News I have been waiting for: it involves how Iranian technology is serving the economy (using specially modified and instrumented plane)...

Iran discovers more oilo_O
(if you were wondering why they want regime change in Iran..lol..God has been good to Iran!)
Iran has discovered new oil reserves in the country’s southwest, the details of which will be announced by Minister of Petroleum Javad Owji in the near future, the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) says.

Iran discovers new oil reserves in hydrocarbon-rich southwest

Iran has discovered new oil reserves in the country’s southwest, the details of which will be announced by Minister of Petroleum Javad Owji in the near future, the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) says.
Iranian experts have also carried out well-logging on an offshore exploratory block in the Persian Gulf with gas reserves estimated at 30 trillion cubic feet, director of exploration at NIOC Mehdi Fakour announced on Tuesday.
“For the first time, we have achieved the method of aerial magnetometry which is used up to a depth of 7,000 meters below the surface of the earth to identify reservoirs and hydrocarbon fields,” the official said.
The technique involves using unmanned aircraft and magnetometers equipped with georeferencing systems and other navigation instruments to perform magnetic scans.
Fakour said the design of the aircraft was carried out by Iranian scientists, and the plane is currently being used to collect data. “One tenth of the area of the country is to be surveyed by this plane,” he said.
“Few people in the world have the ability to fly such an aircraft, which must be flown at a low altitude - 600 meters above ground - under special conditions. A 30-year-old Iranian, trained domestically, will do this grave task in the Zagros mountains,” Fakour added.
Most of Iran’s oil and gas fields lie in a belt running along its maritime boundary in the Persian Gulf and the foothills of the Zagros Mountains – an extensive folded zone which is geologically the result of the Arabian plate's collision with the central Iranian plateau.
The collision has trapped thick layers of ancient limestone and sandstone and turned them into some of the world’s biggest oil and gas accumulations.
The Zagros basin covers more than 550,000 square kilometers, stretching from Turkey and Syria through the Iraqi Kurdistan into Iran where its sediments are ideally up to 12,000 meters thick.
Some 23 Iranian hydrocarbon fields lie in border areas and are shared between Iran and adjacent countries, including Kuwait, Iraq, Qatar, Bahrain, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Turkmenistan.
Iran’s proven oil reserves of at least 160 billion barrels account for almost 10 percent of the world total and rank it fourth after Venezuela, Saudi Arabia and Canada. The country also sits on the world’s largest proven gas reserves of almost 34 trillion cubic meters, or 18 percent of the global total.
Iran’s oil and gas resources are also some of the exceptionally most attractive in the world from an economic point of view. They are trapped in large, conventional reservoirs with excellent geological properties that make them highly productive at a low cost.
According to Reuters news agency, Iranian oil wells hold the world record for the highest production average of 10,000 barrels per day.
The oil, gas and petroleum sectors, however, are on the frontline of the fight against the United States’ “maximum pressure” which former US president Donald Trump primarily applied with an express aim of bringing the country’s exports down to zero.
The sanctions have spawned an inward-looking drive in Iran, especially in the oil industry, to mobilize local resources and fulfill some of the tasks which were an exclusive competence of foreign companies for decades.

Today: Iran-China ...16 MOUs finalized:

"According to economists, it represents "a potentially material shift to the global balance of the oil and gas sector” and could mark a "seismic shift in the global hydrocarbons sector” where no US dollars would be involved in commodity transaction payments."
