What's new

Iranian Aviation Products..military and civilian

Here is the thing, investing in airline for civilian transportation within country is wasteful and luxury when there is more to gain by developing railways.
You forget just how large the country is, more over the land is not very easy to build a rails because of its topography. Unfortunately it's not as simple as a high speed rail from Paris to Amsterdam.

UK couldn't even complete a high speed rail in their small country, a normal rail in Iran is like a mega project in work and cost.

I traveled from Tehran to ahvaz with train ... It took more than 12 hours .... Compare it with 50 minutes long journey with airplane
You know very well it could be shorter, like 8 hours instead of 12 with investment and expansion would ease transportation of goods to major population centers.
Look at China building railways where ever it could and is focused on railways with belt and road initiative.

Those 24 Su-35's are equivalent of roughly between 300 to 400 kilometers of double track railway with all necessary infrastructure that would cost Iran to build domestically.

that mean building new routes in mountainous area

Yes and...? Iran could then choose to have train based missiles like North Korea.

or air launched one like usa
Iran doesn't have domestic capability to produce B-52 or any large cargo transport jet.
At bare minimum there would be need for Mig-31 tier aircraft dedicated to carrying effectively air launched 9K720 Iskander derivative.

if they want they can modify Simorgh they are building for that role.

and by the way those train launched missiles are for nukes not normal missiles

6 tons is good enough for maybe medium range ballistic missile of little over 1000 kilometer.
It would be more viable to have a flying wing bomber with four Owj equipped with afterburners and ascend from longest runway possible in Iran.

not if it don't need to boost from ground

Mohammadibakhsh said the plans to use the Iranian plane for different purposes other than carrying passengers have been finalized, adding, “We guess the new platform of Iran-140 plane will make its maiden flight by the end of this year.”
The current Iranian year will end on March 20.

it seems clear that the aircraft that will make the first flight is the Simorgh

This sentence from the above report is significant:

"The CEO of the Civil Aviation Organization further noted that Iranian energy and infrastructure conglomerate MAPNA has embarked on a project to manufacture aircraft engines."
