It has more to do with Bania diplomacy. I don't think its just a coincidence that Iran backs down AFTER signing a deal with India.

The whole world runs on "Bania diplomacy", no one believes in giving out khairats. With India out of IPI, and Pakistan as the sole customer/user of the pipeline, the project would not be profitable enough for Iran. So what incentive does Iran have to solely fund the project, specially now that the sanctions against Iran is withering away?

1- iran finished the pipeline from its side

2- iran , china and some other countries proposed to help build the pipeline in pakistan

3- iran is more than willing to go on with the project as we offered it in the first place

4- pakistan started trolling about the price after the deal was signed

5- the pipeline in pakistani side had been completed sth abt well, joke percent !!!

and now we are the bad guys and why is that ? its because we are not in a position to spend half a billion dollar for an un-secure project .

its your side of pipeline , its not ours and its your problem not ours .

our economy madam was under sanctions for 35yrs . it still is under the harshest sanction ever pun on any country !! i repeat the harshest ever . but still , we are strong enough not to be dependent on your money !!! i mean your economy is not even comparable to ours with all due respect
