Iran Threatens to Halt Crude Exports If Sanctions Intensify

Lol you are moving the goalposts and trying to squirm your way through. We are talking about absolute payments not percentage. China having 40% of a significantly smaller pie is not bad at all, it still means less revenue for Iran, and it still means China is paying less to Iran, which means less money for Iran.

Wrong buddy.

Check this thread, we are actually paying ABOVE market price on Iranian oil. So not only are we importing more, but we are also paying above market prices for it this time. Most likely to help Iran with cash flow problems.

That was one month, and due to a payment problem. Which was obviously caused by the USA shutting down all channels into Iran and blacklisting any banks that did business with them.

After the payment problem was sorted out (pretty much right away), every month after that we have imported more than before.

And now we make up 40% of all Iranian oil shipments, and we pay a premium too. Most likely to help Iran with any cash flow problems.

Treating your friends and enemies differently is simply human nature. Obviously Pakistanis are going to back China rather than India, didn't you know that?

:yahoo: :yahoo:

America can't bully China into doing anything. I think the Americans know that. China is too powerful to be bullied. :yahoo:

We've been able to physically defend our region since the Korean War, in which we fought against the USA + 16 of her allies combined, and pushed them completely out of North Korea.

But we can still be bullied. :woot:

The USA can still smack our interests all around the world, and there is a limited amount we can do about it for now (due to lack of power projection and diplomatic influence).

Though we are improving.

I know the Chinese are still very angry about the US bombing their embassy in Belgrade.

A close friend of mine said they still want revenge for that.

Might have to wait a while for that to be possible. :P

Yeah, but it can be a lot less waiting time if we unite and put an end to the tyranny of the bully.

Believe me, Pakistani civilians are tired of getting bombed in their homes for nothing.

As an American I try to vote for the candidate that will put an end on the suffering of humans, but so far none of the candidates have this view.

Can't wait till China starts to bully America!!! I think I will see that in my lifetime!:bunny: America has been the bully for too long!

1. Your fragile hopes and dreams matter not a whit, you will very likely never live to see the day, and the possibility serves as little comfort for Iran now :)
2. Change you location tag liar, you clearly don't live in the US according to your own posts.

Just because you live in the US does not mean you have to agree with current foreign policy.

Your logic is flawed.

I have no problem with american people,;) and like them very much!!! there is NO hostility aganist american people. There is NO racism in iran or hatred for ordinary American people, despite what your Media tells you. I just dont like what the American government has done in iran and has never apologized and acknowleged their crimes in Iran. Sometimes you have to have an open mind and look at the world through different perspective as well. This is how 99% iranians think. We don't hate Americans or any race or country. we just dont like the American policy in Iran for the past 50 years. Trust me if Iran did the same to you , you would feel the same way. Plus this is free world, I can have opinions that are critical of Americas policy in Iran for 50 years. So what exactly is your issue? I'm also critical of Irans policy in many areas. If my post made you uneasy i will delete it! LOL. you have to be ready to always face critizism! dont cry, its ok.

In light of further posts and now that it doesn't look like the poster is pulling a Hasbara, I will address this directly in a more polite manner.

When you speak of hoping for the US to be bullied, you speak of more than the American government but the American people.

I have no desire to see the Iranian people bullied, but the consequences of the government's actions have been stated and they are reality, that is all I speak of.

:edited: after having tried to retype this many times I can only concede I let my emotions get the better of me on this post. I of course disagree with your views on what America's future course is and the attractiveness of your hoped for course. I will leave it at that.

What you state is mere speculation and dreaming, which makes it all the more insulting, because you yourself desire that and there is nothing to tie it to reality beside your own desire, while I am merely speaking on fact.

You have been bullying Iranians for 50+ years now!!!! Being bullied is not that bad , it makes you stronger in most cases! But America is like the mean bully at school. I think someone needs to say something soon or later. This doesnt mean there has to war or attacks. But can be done through "diplomacy". why is it so difficult to take critizism? anyway I hope there is a system in the world where countries are NOt allowed to bully others so much and bomb them for simply standing up to them.

She may have said things out of emotion, but her point is that she does not approve of US foreign policy.

Remember that after 9/11 the Iranians were holding candles for the deceased in the terrorist attacks.
9/11 was a terrorist act!!!!! No one in Iran approved of such attacks! 9/11 caused more deaths in the middle east than it did in America. this is my opinion.
