Whoever country wants to have good relations with us, we welcome but we have a priority and we openly said it Pakistan First. Iran seeks etc depth relations, we have no issue, KSA seeks relations and having ties, we are happy too hence, there is no dictation at all nor should anyone feel so. Iran is only getting closer nowadays since geopolitics started to change a lot.... for such understanding, we can read, Islamic Coalition Force, RS invited to lead the same on other hand, we are getting more closer and closer with Turkiye as well and on other hand, the newly UAE & Indian relations tht UAE leadership is seeking as pure business opportunity. UK, Germany etc all are showing interest in CPEC and other projects hence, we welcome all but one must not see the same as having an authority to push us for a decision to choose between countries that we have no such policy at all.

We are not importing any system either from Iran or KSA etc and the business is purely Pakistan First for us as such, these relations are not influenced or on the basis of religion/Sect at all. For Pakistanis, we have Pakistan and those who loves other countries, can leave as such by anytime.

Pakistan, Iran to boost trade to five billion dollars

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chairman for the Committee for Foreign Policy and National Security of Iran Alaeddin Boroujerdi said in a press conference in Islamabad that the trade between Pakistan and Iran is worth one billion dollars at the moment which is not acceptable, we should boost it to five billion dollars.

He said that the purpose of his visit is to further strengthen the relationship of Pakistan and Iran. Both the countries have stood by each other during the crisis times like wars, he added.

Alaeddin declared Chabahar and Gwadar as ‘sister ports’ which can play a vital role in expanding the trade with eastern countries of Asia.

Talking about the Pak-Iran gas pipeline, he said that Iran has erected the pipeline to its border, hopefully Pakistan will also complete the task soon at its side as the project is in the interest of both countries.

Boroujerdi emphasized that China, Pakistan, Russia and Iran should further strengthen their relationships. He also said that Iran welcomes the proposal given by the senate of Pakistan to form an alliance between these countries.

Boroujerdi added that Iran is ready to play a constructive role between Pakistan and India in order to get the Kashmir dispute resolved if both Pakistan and India are willing to accept Iran’s role.

Alaeddin also said that intelligence agencies of Iran are in contact with Pakistan regarding India’s spy Kulbhushan Yadav that was caught from Balochistan.

He expressed his views that Pakistan and Iran should work in collaboration to eradicate terrorism from Afghanistan.

Pakistan should be thankful to Gulf nations not because they are your Ummah brothers rather they are one of the major source of income in term of remittances. I really do not belive or no sane person will beleive that Gulf rejected your rice because Indian Gov put pressure to have Indian rice..

Dude, to whom are you fooling around. Many Pakistan rice exporters sell their products proudly in Gulf, US and other nations. Definitely Pakistan has equally good quality of rice like any one else...May be your rice quality failed in the some kind of deal with Gulf countries so they did not like it..if ,.I mean just choosing a rice, is an indication of who is alligning with which country, then China would be the best buddies of US. But yes, if you expect that because of your rice, Gulf will abandon Indian rice, then you are mixing economics with diplomatic relation which will never be successful as Pakistan depend on Gulf more than the other way around.( Again, same thing applies to India too)

Now, it is your countries stupidity, that in spite of having Iran as a neighour with rising economy and oil, you did not exploit your relationship potential. Do not blame others like Gulf nations for your infficiency in increasing trade relation with Iran. Gulf nations will never ever tell you stop trading with Iran for them...So accept your mistakes in your diplomacy which is full of emotions than pragmatism...
