Iran Moves 35 Years Ahead by Reverse Engineering US RQ-170

. .
These guys couldn't refine their own gasoline till a few years ago. Please....

. . . .
OMG. Why is this drone intact? Was it hacked?

pred-crash-1.png

Unlike the RQ-170 that was a turbofan powered aircraft with no vertical stabilizers, this is a light low speed propeller driven aircraft they are fully capable of gliding down
Max speed of this Aircraft is 135 mph and it stalls at 60mph so yes at 60 mph and with vertical stabilizers it can glide down and crash vertically intact

And this is what happens when a heavier turbofan engine aircraft stalls

. .
People tend to think that reverse engineering is such a piece of cake. It takes real technical expertise and effort to reverse engineer, not to mention the countless tricks the manufacturer may use to fool the reversing guys.

they may have revived Un official help from China/Russia.

Iran is still ranked as the fastest growing nation in Science and Technology feel free to google it!!!!!!!!!

my intention was not to demean the effort of Iranian Scientist . it was just a tongue in cheek remark.

I believe that there was no Russian or Chinese help, but a few years ago a blurry photo appeared in the Chinese internet that shows drones which could be based on the RQ-170.
