Will leave for sea trails by year end.

With project 15A end is in near sight, all eyes will be on project 15B.

Expect it to go for sea trials in 2017/2018 (along with the BIG DADDY :enjoy:) and commissioning in 2018/2019.

But i hate the fire power of this ships... it should be mounted by another 32 + 16 BrahMos and B-8

Thx bro for posting the link.

I believe, navy is taking a smart approach here. They are utilising the funds wisely. Rather than going all-out on one platform, they are spreading the funds. Firepower will be upgraded during 1st major refit. There is enough space on it. Hang tight brother, it's coming.

Only problem is numbers. By 2024 we will have only 10 Destroyers and 16 Frigates. Apart from 12 Karmorta class Big corvettes.

Divide them by 2 for two flanks. And see the problem.

Even if China commits its 1/4th fleet ,they will overwhelm us by numbers.

I don't think so all the Rajput class Destroyers will be retired by then
