INS Betwa mishap a major setback to the Indian Navy

Since 2011, the Indian Navy has seen over 30 mishaps, the most recent being INS Betwa—the indigenously built 3,850-tonne Brahmaputra-class guided missile frigate—tipping over during undocking. Two sailors were killed in the accident, 14 others were injured and the ship was severely damaged. Given below is a list of 12 major mishaps in the last six years.

Mishaps and accidents happen all around the world, however Indian Navy needs to look into some of the incidents more closely, like the one in 2009 which was covered up for several years. It obviously doesn't appear to be just an accident.
