If anything India should have not been greedy but pushed for abolishing the UNSC. Why should one nation have more of a vote than the other? Why should one have the right to cancel the other? If there are 191 nations, get the majority vote and move on.

Good luck, the US would just pull funding of the UN and bye bye UN hello uncontrolled anarchy. Unless Shining India wants to take up the majority funding for UN and set them up in New Delhi.

UNSC is just prestige issue for india leadership thinking it to be one step towards their perceived superpower dream.But fence sitters like india can never get the unsc membership.

In a democracy, the value of your vote is less than Tata family's? Obviously they have been accepted into the UNGA as a member, so has USA. In a voting platform, all votes are equal.

This concept is so flawed, that why does that nation have the same value as a big nation. Then why stop there? Go back to warlordism and beat the crap out of each other till you get to the top.
