Our best bet against this asset is India’s own poor organization of military air assets. These belong with the IA and under direct command of BG rather than going through their 3 man chain of requests.

What would u want Pak Army to have in order to counter it?

It has 8km (LOAL, high trajectory), 7.1km (LOAL, low / direct trajectory) and 11km (UAS: LOAL, high trajectory) range depending on the trajectory.

The article is ton load of Bull$hit. America attacked Pakistani posts deliberately. Were they blind that they could not see multiple Pakistani flags or soldiers in uniforms? Pakistan also fired flares to indicate they were attacking an organised military - which they continued to attack for over 30 minutes.

Besides if that was a mistake, USA must have rendered a state-level apology to their then non-NATO Ally.

Do u think they would come close to FM 90 like 15 km? FM 90 won't be moving forward like MBTs. Moreover, SAMs accuracies are highly debatable. HELL Fire ATGMs have proven Battle records and high success rates. Apaches would maintain the distance from our battalions and they have potent ECMs too

PAF shouldve scrambled to protect the soldiers, another high level mistake. my understanding is that the communication was relayed back that they are under attack .. secondly, it seems like it was a planned and premeditated attack

Does it carry a jammer?
Will it be guiding other Indian locally produced gunships after gathering data through Long bow Radar ?
Will it be eyes and ears of Indian command setup using its sensors?
Will it be operating under cover of IAF ?

The PAF employment will either make or break the PA. Any future conflict will be intense and the casualties will be horrendous on both sides. There has been very little premium placed on force protection in either Pakistan or India up till now. However the devastation of weapon systems currently employed by both sides (the only saving grace is that both have a limited quantity) has far outpaced the force protection in place on both sides.

That’s why I think PAF needs to Improve JF 17 into true 4+ Gen fighter and than start pumping affordable JF-17 to 2x to 3x Current numbers.

supplement it with stealth fighter in near future, for turn Air dominance.
