Indians knew about gravity before Newton: Isro ex-chief

Lol
Every day is not sunday they say.
Last century belonged to America, the century before that belonged to Britishers and other Europeans.Keep turning history's pages and you will find India's name.
If you don't wanna believe it, then so be it! :)
I am not disputing that. But I am disputing that any of those pages contain the universal law of gravitation as understood today, or technology to make invisible planes. Your assertion that just because there was a Harappan civilization, the Europeans couldn't possibly teach us advanced sciences in the 16th century AD, is logically fallacious.

. .
No one in the Indus Valley civilisation knew anything about India or Pakistan, Hinduism or Islam, Nehru or Jinnah. They are long dead. A lot of people who 've nothing to do with that culture live there now. :tsk:

That applies to every country out there or do you think the Neanderthal would suddenly embrace me and say 'My long lost Brother' ? o_O

He might call you as 'Apa Jee' though; the resemblance is uncanny !

It's hard copy or online resource?

Hard copy ! :)

Sang-e-Meel publications keh office seh leh kar ayaa thaa - Upper Mall !

Yeah they taught us recycled stuff. So?

. . .
Goddamn, I don't even know how to reply to this hot air. Never mind, I'm not here to argue - I wanted to explain some things, and I have done so.

Look mate. I really mean no offence, honestly - but I request you to stop talking about things you clearly have no knowledge of.

I have to quote physicist Enrico Fermi, who once remarked about something thus: "That's not right. That's not even wrong!

Same quote of Fermi applies here.

(Again, I repeat, I am not trying to belittle you. But you are doing everybody a disservice when you talk about scientific concepts without knowing anything about it.)

Now when I am bringing you the facts you are running away. The biggest question is source of this universe out of nothing. Has science done enough to explain? First they said P N e are smallest, then found out about meuons, bosons, quartz. The whole thing ended up with gravitons, behaving as wave but are particles causing gravity pull. After that past 5 years they have no answer from where the charge in them came, that'S the dead end.. just keeping the jobs and recruitments, nothing more than that.

But I have an answer to it. Go through Rig Veda and mandukya upanishad. The desire to manifest.. is the cause. Process is complex.

I would recommend it. It was written before partition, so it covers Pakistan's history as well. Here is a link to a PDF:

http://www.apnaorg.com/books/english/discovery-india-nehru/discovery-india-nehru.pdf

Like most other works of Nehru, it is written in a very charming and personal style. Mind you, it's more of a personal journey of discovery, and written from that viewpoint. Not written as a professional historian would write.

Thank You; it'll be an interesting read to get some insight on Mr.Nehru's views ! :)
