That article is meaningless, the only Islamic opinions that matter are those of the Salaf, and anyone after them who's views conform to theirs.

Lol. All that would be needed is a deployment of a few hundred Gurkhas and the Afghan "warriors" would be running back to their caves with their tails between their legs

Considering your historical track record when it comes to dealing with them, I doubt it.
This over-hyping of Gurkha's needs to stop, the only reason they're so good is because their regiments have a much stricter recruitment process:
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/men/the-filter/10-things-no-one-tells-you-before-you-join-the-gurkhas1/
Also, they're not invincible:

And don't forget about Shamsuddin Ilyas Shah, he was a Muslim Sultan from the Bengal who invaded Nepal and sacked one of it's major temples, many even call him the Alexander of the Bengal (although, he was ancestrally from Balochistan).
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shamsuddin_Ilyas_Shah#Military_campaigns
You can read more about him in books relating to the time/region.
It's also worth mentioning that the Nepalese have never formed a major empire in South Asian history, where as others like the Bengalis, Punjabis, Pashtuns, Sindhis, Baloch, etc have all done so.
Of course no one is invincible. But to compare some rag tag tribal fighters with a well known fighting force which has earned its spurs across the globe is fanciful.
I don't generally quote hadees' ( some of them go contrary to common sense ) but despite you having seen my quotations ( these make sense ) still are stubbornly holding onto a single point of view.
Who do you think are the salafis in the modern times??
Hadees are part of Islam, rejecting them means you reject the Sunnah, and the Quran commands the Muslims to follow the Sunnah:
https://islamqa.info/en/604
The views you propagate make no sense whatsoever when it comes to Islam. Every time you've ever commented about Islam, I cringe at how wrong you are.
I didn't say Salafis, I said the Salaf. The fact that you don't know who the Salaf were shows how much you know about Islam.
Lol. Thats like Mussolini's clowns thinking they are equal to the Roman fighters of yore. These "rag tag tribal fighters" have kicked the crap out of Hindustan multiple times, where as I can't even name a single notable Nepali empire.
Lol. Thats like Mussolini's clowns thinking they are equal to the Roman fighters of yore.
Did the hadees works come before the Quran or after??
Note that I didn't say "reject the hadees works outright". I just said that those sections which go contrary to common sense must not be considered.
I will ask you a simple question - do you admire the path of :
a. The Tableeghi Jamaat, Ikhwaan ul Muslimeen, Taliban, Al Qaeda etc.
OR
b. Jamal Abdul Nasser, Muammar Gaddafi etc.
Mostly during
but some even came before the Quran was revealed (e.g the ones describing events that occurred prior to Islam).
Define "common sense"?
What on earth has Tableeghi Jammat got to do with militant groups?
Anyway, I already told you, I follow the Salaf. Don't know what that means? Google it.
Like which ones??
Like which ones??
Judgement arrived upon through logical and practical decisions which can also be replicated by other people in the same manner.
The Tableeghi Jamaat provides the ideological basis for a lot of terrorist groups from among "Muslims", be it in Russia, or China or South East Asia or Africa ( combined with the Ikhwaan ul Muslimeen ) to Europe etc or Central Asia etc.
This is supported by other organizations like the Peace TV channel.
It would be easier for me if you describe it in simple words.
