Should I tell you another amazing fact about Upper Cast Hindus? I have met 10+ Hindus in Melbourne so far and all of them were Brahman. Not a single one identified himself as Shuder, Khatri or Waish. Out of all the Indians I met, I have found 1 Muslim, 1 Christian and 1 Buddhist and everybody else identified himself as Brahman. My assessment of this observation is that either Brahmans are most privileged class in India or other Hindu sects feel low about their own cast and like to be Identified as Brahmans whenever possible.

In todays India if you are an FC you are screwed, BC you are okay, MBC -SC-ST you will do good... since the situation is like this, there is a high probability these 10+ you met were telling the truth

Why didn't she bring kashmiri Pundits driven out by Muslims from kashmir, why not bring out the lives of Indian soldiers lost in 4 wars

Why not bring externally supported militants in killing local residents in NE like ULFA and BODO.

We know who supported Khalistan movement and NE movement.

Its our necessity of cutting out the cancerous part of our Indian society.

We know who are behind in our long stuggle against Terrorism where as these journalists and so called scholars failed to acknowledge the innocent lives taken by these terrorists. Praising Pakistan, what about their action at FATA and Baluchistan?

Scoring cheap points by going against the tide and creating controversies to increase her books sale. Attenstion Seeker. Where are her moral scanner about the above mentioned points? The day she start talking with neutrality, Indians will listen to her.

P.S. To OP, should I post what Salman Rushdie said about Pakistan in one of his interview and start bashing Pakistan?

Indian psyche, well except few people like us, we don't give a rat's a** about our neighbors. They are busy working hard to make thos nation stronger at all level, creating goodwill all over the world, adapting where ever we settle in abroad, making business ties with many nations with intelligent design where we do business with countries who are enemy of each other (Iran-Israel).

We are too busy in increasing our technological level, reaching to moon, preparing for Mars, and at the same time working at grass root level to develop our villages, remove poverty, reduce crimes etc.

Indian psyche is what we want to build not what we want to destroy.

And as for these so called Samaj Ke Thekedaar like Arundhati Roy and all, they didn't do anything to develop India, just protested, fight for some self righteous cause but don't offer practical solution.

Indian psyche is when many Indian Muslims don't kill goats on EID when Mahaveer Jayanti of Jain falls on same day. The religious harmony.

I can go on and on about Indian Psyche, coz to understand it you have to observe India by your own eyes being present here, not reading some obsure report or biased personality which preaches same ideology just like yours.

Come and debate with some solid arguments not with some cheap shots, one liners and same old ranting. I am all game....

I don't know whom u met n what the told u but let me tell u the ground realities of Brahmins(specially north India) in India....

Brahmin were once considered the highest class people but the never ruled India they were the scholars n not the rulers, the rulers were kshatriyas(that was pre british era)

Nowadays Brahmins themseleves r a minority their community neither has much stakes in politics nor in industries they have even lost their respectful place in the society they once enjoyed(except for the pundits of some big n famous temples)....

More over i would says other communities specially the Baniyas(n let me tell u there r thousands of communities in India other than Brahmins n Baniyas) have progressed a lot in education, industry, etc..

N the funny thing is that Brahmins(except the tamil Brahmins) r not even good at education also as they once used to be...

n one more thing that most pakistanis misunderstood if u ask an Indian what is his caste there is a 90% probability that he would not say i m a kshatriya or shudra or yeshya(except for Brahmins) rather he would say i m a rajput(for kshatriya), a Baniya(for yeshya), etc.. Bcoz these r there sub castes under the original 4

n there is a high probability the brahmins u met were South Indians

Maybe now u understand why u don't meet people other than Brahmins...
