My very last post to you Indians for now.

Well BD is not small in terms of population as it is around 150 million. It just needs to get rid of absolute poverty first and then can start spending more on defence for self-defence. Economic growth is 6%+ a year and so cash wont be short for much longer.

Not saying that BD can match India in any way but with a stronger BD in East and Pakistan on West, then India can be contained in South Asia.

LOL
Percentages and economic growth mean zilch in case of defense.
You need accumulated money, foreign reserves, credit ratings, foreign aid(in case of Pak) et cetra to procure and R&D weapons properly without worrying about how it will affect the current GDP.
Growth rates fall and rise every year and some countries have had high economic growth for a long time, that doesn't make them militarily capable.
If Bangladesh is not a BRIC country then neither is it anywhere near as capable as India nor is it seriously going affect the geopolitics of S.Asia for a long time to come.

Don't believe me?
Imagine how much money you need to offset everything about your economy and still influence a country like France to not give weapons to your geopolitical rival? That's how far Bangladesh is.

Indeed Pakistan doesn't need to match India, gun for gun, plane for plane or tank for tank, there's always been 4:1 quantity ratio in India's favour, Pakistan just maintains on qualitive edge.
In fact it's India which feels insecure on Pakistani acquirements, one just needs to look back when Pakistan purchased the initial 40 F-16s...... according to Indian author, Pushpinder Singh, as a response to the F-16s, India ended up purchasing some 250 assorted fighter jets.
what you took now... India purchased to replace it's old birds... when did pakistan received those birds ??? few of them early 90s ... Rest after 2007.... stop doing show off

.
I mean this was a conventional weaponry what type of threat it was to Indian interests, numerically lower force would have been at equal disadvantage on offensive against larger one if it will attack the larger one with or with out that deal . Only clash of interest will be if some Indian dream of Akhand Bharat  by attacking a numerically smaller defensive force.

Qualitative edge??

You mean JF17 with MKI or with Rafale??

Decisively proven by the PAF in the last two major wars. Period.

In 71 IAF stroked deep down in hostile territory that's why some more loss as compare to PAF but again thats can not be termed as major one cause you faced worse defeat in history after WW2.

I think that's same helicopter that India want to replace with new one for our AF.

and how is it even relevant to the thread, or to what I have said--- if pakistan is procuring an platform, that india is phasing out, then why is it feeling insecure???,

But if we can deny Pak a very good battlefield chopper it will be good for us.

Its u who should feel that as mi-35 is an old platform,,,even upgraded ones are no match for mi-28 let alone apaches we will be getting.

So why would we be insecure?:coffee:

We won't be able to pay the operating costs of EFTs.

We can use the like Israel use its F-15s, and if you think we can't afford them then how PAF can afford a 5th gen fighter jet in future which will much costly to operate?? PAF much go for 40 EFTs if we can get them from KSA, they will reduce technological gap many folds between IAF & PAF and they can penetrate Indian defenses much better then F-16s due to their weapons load and better avionics.

Chopper don't fight each other in battlefield so comparing them is useless, as for Mi-35 for Pakistan they are needed for COIN ops ASAP as they can carry troops in and out and also CAP with MEDEVAC which is a very important need in COIN ops as soldiers got injured in those areas and only helicopters are fastest way to take them to hospital.

Although they will be very lethal against IBG while deploying ATGM teams to slow down the IA thrust in case PA got into some surprising situation.

They are good for tanks as u have already quoted but mi-35 have quite less payload capacity vs mi-28 or apache plus hellfire is way better in that role.

But i agree,,otherwise its an excellent platform,,apaches are an overkill anyways.
Last but not the least,,,there is 0 chance for an india-pakistan war so who cares

Mi-35s will not come as replacement of our front line attack helicopter they will be supporting them in ops, T-129 or WZ-10 with TOT will be our front line attack helicopters and both are very potent machines to handle any threat on ground.

If PA goes for T-129 then it will allow PA to have Cirit which is only one in its class and even NATO country is purchasing them for Tiger gun ship also UMTAS & OMTAS will be available which will are comparable to Hellfire.

@Basel - We are talking 5th generation aircraft a decade from now, when our economy would be much bigger than what it is today till then, the single engine doctrine is written in stone!
