well,some parts of your argument is right,others are not.you can easily detect a submarine near choke points and if you've some good detection platform.as for bay of bengal,we've good detection mechanism in place.for IOR,we don't need to cover entire IOR,do we???

Its the right of every nation to secure their land, air and sea assets.

BD can arm themselves to the teeth...Its well within their right and it should be none of our business. We just need to make sure that our capabilities outmatch theirs to prevent an unlikely scenario of misadventure...

you don't know about IOR much,do you??to bypass Malacca strait,they'll have to take the road through Australian Ware and Cocos Island,where USN based their assets.its more threatened routes than Malacca Strait.

my friend,can you confirm what is going to be BD's future Submarine base??it can't be deep inside Bangladesh as Padma's river channels aren't a suitable place to operate a sub.it has to be somewhere in the coastal region.some islands of Sunderban perhaps.right??I heard about Cox bazar.can you confirm??also,its kind of tight spot,next to Indian and Mayanmar's border.

If history has taught us anything there is nothing stealth or unbeatable in this world. Hence anyone thinking here that a Bangladeshi Captain can use the subs undetected need a rehab.

As far as bay of Bengal is concerned a sub can't pass to Bangladesh without IN noticing it. Specially when they have a base in Vizag and Project Varsha is under development.

Thirdly the Eastern Command of IN is preparing to take on Chinese. Most of the modern ships are in Bay of Bengal. The Shivaliks, the nuke boomer, the Austin all are there.

2 Subs here and there don't make any difference.
