What are they waiting for?
Why not they these terrorists go already, we may risk a surgical strike from India.:yu::yes4::yay::flood::yu:lol

If they are at the launch pads, why not conduct your so called surgical strikes like you acted before? I am sure, elections are near in India and BJP would like to gain votes by creating war hysteria and win elections. In Indian politics, this is common and from my understanding, the public are already demanding to punish Pakistan and give it a decisive blow.

Pakistan military with its Aid cut will be Doomed...right?

To be serious, The credibility of most of the news channels of India is, to put it politely, sh*t! Pakistan itself has its share but it is lesser in comparison to India.
India needs to address the real cause of instability in Indian administered Kashmir, and resolve it through dialogue.

When there are ten thousand freedom fighters in IOK why should 400 make a difference?

lol You Indians need to stop reading news published by drunk reporters. Modi is in political turmoil and he is just trying to divert attention from his unsuccessful governing of India. Please help me understand how will these 400 people waiting will cross LOC has Indian Army gone on vocation from LOC. This is stupid shit and conspiracy and a pure example of FAKE NEWS.

First thing these 400 who are waiting to enter in Republic of India are not ordinary people but well trained soldiers of Pakistan and its allies even to whom intelligence outputs are being given to carry out attacks not only on Indian Military forces but even on Indian Citizens and they are coming not only from Line of control but even from International borders.

what a joke.they count the numbers to be 400.indian army is a disgrace.

10 Corp commander has increased at Pakistan Army posts along the LoC and according to Indian Military Intelligence Bureau (IB) , 400 well trained soldiers are waiting to move inside Indian Territory to wage war against Indian nation .

Lt Gen AK Bhatt, General Officer Commanding of the 15 Corps, met Governor NN Vohra at Raj Bhawan here today and briefed him about issues relating to the security situation in the Valley.

Observing that there was no likelihood of a decline in the continuing terrorist activities, the Governor advised enhanced surveillance along the Line of Control.

In a first such attack this year, Pakistani soldiers on Monday carried out Border Action Team (BAT) attack along the Line of Control (LoC) in Khari Karmara sector of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir injuring two Indian soldiers.

"A BAT of Pakistani army launched an attack on a patrol operating in between the two posts inside the Indian territory. The Indian troopers bravely repulsed the attack, but two soldiers were critically injured in the attack," sources said and added that one intruder was also killed in the retaliatory action by the army.

"The BAT team was seen retreating to the Pakistani post on the LoC while the body of the intruder was recovered. He was wearing combat fatigues," the source said.

The critically injured soldiers were airlifted to a hospital in Udhampur for treatment.

"The ambush, carried out by the BAT of the Pakistan army, could have inflicted more damages if Indian troops weren't alert. The Army is on high alert and is ready to thwart BAT attacks. However, as Pakistani army gave covering fire, the BAT wearing black combat uniform could cross over the LoC. They assaulted Indian Army's Area Domination Patrol but had to retreat after retaliation," they said.

A senior army officer said that Pakistani Army has deployed several battalions of the ' Force Regiment', which is part of its dreaded BAT, along the LoC and the international border (IB) to help terrorists infiltrate and target Indian troops.

Recently, Northern Command chief Lt Gen Devraj Anbu had stated that over 300 militants were waiting across LoC to infiltrate into the Indian territory.

Sources said the infiltration attempt could rise in the coming days as the weather has started opening-up in some of the areas.

"With infiltration attempts, BAT attacks too would increase in coming months. However, the Army has devised its strategy accordingly and they are maintaining high alert along LoC in twin border districts of Poonch and Rajouri not only to tackle the ceasefire violations but also to foil BAT attacks," they added.

Defence experts say that Pakistan's Special Services Group (SSG) forms the core of the BAT, who took names as Lashkar-e-Toiba, Hizbul Mujahideen and Jaish-e-Mohammad outfits, for trans-LoC action up to a depth of one to three kilometre.

"As Indian posts are closer to Pakistan in Poonch sector, the rugged terrain and thicker forests give BATs an advantage to escape. The BAT usually mutilates the bodies of Indian soldiers to wage psychological warfare," they said.

The BAT camps, unlike the largely make-shift terror-training camps and launch pads across the LoC, consist of around 40-50 Pakistan Army regulars and commandos being specially trained for cross-border raids and ambushes, experts said.

A Pakistani intruder was killed as alert Indian army troops in Poonch district’s Gulpur area of Jammu and Kashmir foiled an infiltration bid from across the Line of Control on Sunday night.

Sources said that the unsuccessful infiltration attempt was made under the cover of unprovoked firing by Pakistani troops. The body of the slain intruder was recovered by the Indian army on this side of the LoC on Monday morning.

Pakistani troops suddenly resorted to unprovoked firing on forward Indian positions at around 5.15 pm. Under the cover of fire, a group of 3-4 people infiltrated into the Indian side of the border.

However, the alert Indian troops had already noticed some movement near the LoC and, while retaliating to Pakistani firing, they challenged the intruders. The intruders also opened fire at Indian troops at a post.

During the exchange of fire, one Pakistani intruder was killed, while others managed to escape. Four Indian soldiers were also hurt in the encounter.

This was the second infiltration foiled by the Indian army since Thursday as terrorists had earlier made an unsuccessful bid to infiltrate through Mendhar’s Dehri Dabsi area.

These Indians are high on cow dung.

LOL not only are their surgical strikes fake, but their claims are also full of lies and deceit.

Subsequent search and sanitisation operations resulted in the discovery of a man’s body, clad in combat fatigues. They also recovered three live rocket-propelled grenades, four disposable rocket launchers, two IKOM radio sets, one AK magazine, two molotov cocktails, four UBGL grenades, seven hand grenades, a PIKA belt, a mobile phone, three back packs, medical satchels and the Pakistan national flag from the spot, the officer said.

Confirming the development, an intelligence officer said that the group was observed 100 metres inside Indian territory near an army post. “The troops opened fire, to which the infiltrators retaliated. A rocket-propelled grenade was also fired at the post by the terrorists,” he added.

Three Indian soldiers who sustained minor injuries in the exchange of fire were evacuated to the 425 field hospital in Poonch, the officer said, adding that one of them sustained a head injury.

Nevertheless, we will still try offering the body of the armed intruder killed in Poonch on Sunday to them.”

Another army officer said regular Pakistan soldiers and special service group members abetted this operation by non-state actors. The rich haul of weapons recovered from the spot clearly indicate the implicit support of the Pakistan army to target Indian establishments while maintaining a degree of deniability, he added.

“It is not understood how Pakistan’s non-state actors are regularly sacrificed to fulfil their army’s agenda,” the officer said. “After Sunjuwan incident, Pakistan has refused to accept the bodies of their citizens – the three Jaish terrorists being a case in point. Nevertheless, we will still try offering the body of the armed intruder killed in Poonch on Sunday to them.”

Large number of militants waiting at launch pads across LoC, says Lt General A K Bhatt

"My primary aim is to ensure that there is peace and prosperity in Kashmir. My primary focus will be to carry out people friendly operations so that Kashmir, which is moving towards mainstream, continues doing so," Lt General A K Bhatt said.

A large number of terrorists are waiting at launching pads across the Line of Control (LoC) to cross over into Kashmir and cease-fire violations by Pakistan are also an attempt to push infiltrators, a top Army commander said at Srinagar on Monday. “We have inputs of many infiltrators waiting at the launching pads and we think infiltration will start sooner this year because of less snow,” General Officer Commanding of the Srinagar-based Chinar Corps, Lt Gen A K Bhatt, said.

“But we are taking counter measures. One reason for the firing can be this (to push infiltrators). Whenever there is firing by Pakistan, it is certain there is an attempt to push infiltrators. The same thing happened in Kupwara and Tangdhar,” he told reporters on the sidelines of a passing out parade at the Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry Centre at Srinagar. The militants waiting across the LoC were in groups of 30-40 at many places from Lepa valley to Mandal area, near 161 brigade, Rampur, and other areas, Bhatt said, citing inputs from security forces.

Asked about reports of announcements made by Pakistan asking villagers to evacuate, Bhatt said they were not for the villagers on this side of the LoC. “They advised a few of the villages there to vacate for safety reasons and my input is that those villages have also not vacated completely,” he said. “The cease-fire violations, initiated by Pakistan, have been appropriately responded to. But I would also like to tell you, it is more of a local affair where due to their actions we have reacted at specific places. We do not intend to open the entire front. Our only thing is that we will retaliate if Pakistan indulges in any aggressive action or pushes infiltrators across,” he said.

An attempt by a Border Action Team (BAT) of Pakistan to sneak into Kupwara was foiled and such attempts will always be dealt in the same manner, he said. On the use of heavy artillery along the LoC in Uri sector, the Army commander said specific situations determine the kind of artillery used. Referring to the killing of two policemen in separate attacks on Sunday, Bhatt said militants were looking for easy targets.

He said the security forces would continue to target the militant leadership and there is complete synergy and coordination between all the agencies. On the Shopian firing incident, the Army commander said forces do not fire until there is extreme provocations and there is danger to life and property. “If our jawans fired that day, it was because the situation was such. There were apprehensions of lynching and loss of life and property. I want to tell you that we have never opened fire on civilians and we will never do so,” he said.

On local youth joining militancy, Bhatt said the youth should join armed forces and other jobs to strengthen the country. “My primary aim is to ensure that there is peace and prosperity in Kashmir. My primary focus will be to carry out people friendly operations so that Kashmir, which is moving towards mainstream, continues doing so,” he said.

BSF troops on foiled an infiltration bid along the International Border (IB) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district, police said. BSF troops at a border outpost observed some movement along IB in Ramgarh sector around 0500 hours today, a senior police officer told PTI.

The Border Security Force (BSF) on Monday foiled an infiltration bid by a group of three to four suspected Pakistani terrorists in Ramgarh sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district, officials said.

The latest attempt by alleged infiltrators to cross the border comes after the February 23 flag meeting between the BSF and Pakistan Rangers in Suchetgarh area of RS Pura in Jammu during which both the forces agreed upon maintaining peace and tranquillity on the international border.

“A suspicious movement of around four persons was observed between BSF posts Nanga and SP-II by the BSF men of 176 Bn in Ramgarh sector of district Samba around 0515 hours (5.15am),” an intelligence official said.

The BSF’s troopers fired five rounds of illumination flares followed by three bursts of seven to eight rounds of small weapons towards the area where the suspicious movement was detected, he said.

He added that the area where the border force troopers opened fire has the Hussain Post of the Pakistan Rangers.

“This process lasted around 0540 hours (5.40am). There was no retaliation by Pakistan. The suspected terrorists managed to escape back to Pakistan,” he said.

India accuses Pakistani soldiers of providing cover firing to help militants cross over and carry out attacks in Kashmir, a charge that Pakistan denies.

Jammu, February 26

The BSF today foiled an infiltration bid by militants along the International Border in the Ramgarh sector in Samba district this morning.

The BSF men fired and used illumination flares after which the group of militants trying to infiltrate into the Indian side of the IB were forced to withdraw. The infiltration attempt was made three days after a flag meeting between the BSF personnel and Pakistani Rangers was held in the Suchetgarh area of Jammu district. The meeting was aimed at maintaining peace on the IB. “While reiterating the BSF’s commitment towards maintaining peace, BSF officials sought Pakistan Rangers’ cooperation for the same, which was agreed by them,” a BSF spokesperson had said after the flag meeting. However, Pakistani Rangers couldn’t keep the word and tried to push infiltrators into Indian side. — TNS
