I and a lot of INDIANS willbe reeady to settle for making the presnt LOC as the IB, but we do not want another grain of sand that the Pakistanis are holding. Let them have their piece of Kashmir and lets have ours ans start thinking about peace to us and our soldiers

Wake up to the reality. Real politics is not bound by moral values or false sense of honour. We don't want to make the LOC to be converted to IB. We need the northern areas. It is strategically important piece of land. It connects us to Afghnistan and disconnects the Pakistan from China and deny the China the warm water port.

Indian govt is making mistakes after mistakes. First Govt of India support to create armed wing of Bangalis, then second known blunder Siachin. After all these aggression , India had no position to raise flag during Kargil operation. What India has started its not going to stop.
Its Indian democratic policy , If single Raja of Kashmir give decision to be part of India, ignoring the whole nation point of view.Is it acceptable ? .Now if the people of Kashmir raise the voice for freedom, what's the objection ?. Accept will of people and follow Shimla accord and call for plebiscite. Indain should not be scared. Remove the over 700,000 army and accept the will of people, remove decades of curfew. This will give respect to India. Because after so much death and destruction in Kashmir. India should forget , that Kashmir will stay for long with them. They can hijack Kashmir freedom with gun.
Mao said once , with weapon you can fight the war but you can't win the war. So, stop hijacking the freedom of Kashmiris and respect their freedom.
Muslim always respect others freedom from newly created Christian states carved out and creation of South Sudan to East Timor.

Kashmir has already cost you a lot while we managed to get better in so many fronts keeping Kashmir second priority and keeping it with us by force or whatever you call. What's the result, Kashmir didn't end up in your hands for 65 years whereas India emerged as one of the fastest growing economy, military and a soft power.

Just imagine what would have been the situation of Pakistan if they cared more about what they have rather than what they want to have. You would have been an emerging economy too considering your resources, strategic position and friend like China.

With all the good intentions, you base premise is flawed.. And I will tell you why. In the given political situation in Pakistan, peace with Pakistan is at best a well intentioned but highly illogical pipe dream of Indian doves.

The business of an Army is war.. More the chances of war are reduced, lesser becomes the relavance of an Army.. Now in India, the foreign policy( that determines war/peace status) is not controlled by Military, but in Pakistan it is. Which means for there to be peace with India, Pakistani army will need to allow foreign policies that will reduce the relavance of Pakistani Army in the scheme of things. Now what are the odds of that happening ?? think about it...

Sorry don't agree. If conditions favor us, then every inch of our land should be reclaimed.

go and have a war with them and they will come with the nuclear option as they can not match us in a conventional battle and see that most areas of both the countries are filled with dead bodies of the nuclear fall out.
for the second part where you said about connecting our self with Afgan and cutting off CHINA.
why not make peace with every one and be a larger part as humans shedding the peety difference on grounds of some elses political agenda.

Total strength of Active troops in IA is 1,129,900 Active personnel.

Now if we have 700,000 troops of IA in kashmir alone (as per pakistanis) Then it mean .................(1,129,900 - 700,0000 = 422,990 Troops ) left.

So...this means that our entire border (IB) with

1)Mighty China (4053 km) (disputed too)
2)Pakistan of about 2,910 km (1,808.2 mi)
3)Burma (1,463 km)
4)Bangladesh (4,000-kilometre (2,500 mi))

is gaurded by just 422,990 Troops ?

It is more than 700,000 security force personnel stationed in Kashmir.

Indian Army - about 350,000

Indian Para-Military - 360,000, including Rashtriya Rifles

Indian Police - probably around 100,000
