Police has arrested some men in the case.

Reports claim that the deceased Army jawan was a native of Titoli village near Shamli. He was serving the 58 Engineers Regiment and was posted at HQ 416 Engineers Brigade camp at Meerut.

Indian people kill their own army man on independence Day..RIP

This is a new low...I respect men in uniform who act proportionately. We may have our differences but this gentleman was doing what any morally upright human being would do i.e. protecting the helpless. Have a little bit of decency to show some respect or not comment at all.

What a bloody shame! Is this what independence is all about? The irony of it all happening on Independence Day.

These buggers need to be flogged and put away for life in jail.

Hail to the brave Jawan who showed exemplary courage. A soldier is always on duty, 24X7.

RIP.

Any chance these goons will be punished or are they under local politician's wings like in most cases and the cases are buried.
