calm down and avoid being abusive. we cant expect everyone to support Gen Musharaf .. I do support him but also call him Mushi not as insult but as affection. I know the general for a very long time since 80s.
he is controversial unfortunately and there is love and hate relationship in Pakistan which we must accept
it is agreed that we could have achieved a lot from our operation. it was no misadventure.. the place is disputed just like Siachin is that india made a warzone due to its own incursion.

thats Pakistanis for you, we are defensive, emotional, mad and "always right". re Kargil operation it was a brigade level incursion and was strictly need to know .. we did a lot to the Indians and broke their myth of invincibility which they time and again admit sometimes. we were not conquering Red fort in Dehli by the way. India will exaggerate our casualties for its own sake and never admit to its own which we miss out due to our differences with Mushi

this was not the first and wont be the last one ... area is disputed and believe me , Indians wont spare a moment if they know they have an opportunity like in Siachin. a much smaller and unknown war is constantly played along the LoC where we catch then intruding and digging new posts ...

* Osama was never in Pakistan; USA should not have secretively attacked him inside sovereign Pakistan
* India cheated by using its airforce in the Kargil war- the Pakistani forces otoh used their feet to climb up those peaks!
* Dawood Ibrahim was never in Pakistan; Pakistan issued passports to him and got his daughter married to Miandad's son only to fool Indians
* ZABhutto was the greated till he became traitor
* Yahya was great till he turned traitor and surrendered
* Benazir was the greatest till she turned traitor
* Musharraf was the greatest till he turned traitor
* Kayani & Pasha were the greatest till they turned traitors
* Gilani & Haqani were the best till they turned traitors

The only different person is Nawas Sherief. He was first considered traitor (for seeing US intervention to limit damage after Musharraf's Kargil misadventure) and then he became hero so got elected.

So yeah, Kargil was a great victory for Pakistan.

The US brokered the deal due to the crying and whining of the Indian government, Mr. Vajpai to be precise. On our end, Mr. Shareef sold his @s$ which eventually lead to the martial law. So please just listen to this General again who clearly said that they have facts that India was in misery at the time.

There is no such as thing as invincibility, India was always too trusting and as always vacated the winter posts as they were far to harsh to maintain during Winters and Pak broke this trust as always. If anything we were naïve. India didn't mention the deaths, rather your own PM and other generals claimed over 4000 dead. India clearly admitted over 500 deaths and over 1000 injured of its own and that is the fact. Your people wasted time, money and most importantly lives on a campaign with no wins. Let alone the humiliation across the world.

Well in a normal country it is common practice to quote the highest authority in the civil Govt. usually the elected leader of a nation, your statement only shows that Pak is a failed state since even their own people don't believe their elected leader.
