Indian Army deploys more troops at borders with Pakistan: Sources

NEW DELHI - The Indian Army has deployed additional troops at the Line of Control along Pakistan border, India today has reported. The army wants to maintain constant pressure on the border.
The three-tier counter grid has been further strengthened with the deployment of additional forces which have been brought into the area, the sources said.

Bolstered by the success in operations along the Line of Control in the previous year, where more than 100 militants had been killed, the sources added.
Last year, Indian Army had inducted more troops around the time of Amarnath Yatra and made a significant number of additional units deployed there to stay back and carry out counter-terrorist operations.
