Indian Army Continues to Use Civilians as Shield Along LOC

IN the end you have a heart or you dont - there is something about india that caste infested society which takes away the heart from a man.

Then concentrate on India's caste-infested society.

That is your core grievance, and by picking on every single thing that enemies of India like to bring up, you are only diluting your basic position.

Some even editing the vid and claim it as Pak shelling.

EXACTLY!....................We need to do all we can to expose indian lies and propaganda. The first stage has been achieved. Unlike 2 years ago, ANYTHING an indian or an indian media outlet says, we deftly scrutinize and always prove as being either completely FAKE or at best severe propaganda of the highest order. After 27/02/2019 and the Chinese conquest of the Galwan Valley some two months ago, the indian narrative and standing has taken a severe hit to the point where even the indian allies are not taking them seriously.

It is one of the most humane armies going. You should find out the composition of the officer class and then conclude whatever you wish to conclude; so long as it is based on fact, you will get to the right places.

I know that it is tempting to swallow the bait offered hook, line and sinker, and I also have my own sources of information about the dire situation there, but it is dire due to the humiliation and complete loss of self-respect of ordinary people, not due to bloodshed.

Please feel free to ask specific questions, if you wish, and I will try to answer to the best of my knowledge.
Sorry Joe. I respect you, but this degree of apologism is utter madness.

. .
No, it will not.

Your first mistake - there are less than 300,000 soldiers in the Kashmir Valley, and many of them are on the borders.

Even if you include the Rashtriya Rifles and the central armed police, the figure does not come anywhere near what you thought it was.

DO NOT swallow propaganda statistics and jump to conclusions.

@Joe Shearer

I have never asked this before. What rank you held as an officer? Were you deployed in Kashmir?

You sound like one of those drill sergeants like Gunnery Hartman. Some of the toughest SoB's no doubt, but a bit eccentric to handle :woot: You were probably lucky to miss any friendly fire, if in a training postion. :cheesy:

He's sticking for his mates. And that's honorable.

Also, not ALL classes of officers are cut from the same cloth. He's an ex-Military so he wouldn't know some of the things that are going on in Kashmir under the despicable Bipin Rawat & Co.

There are good officers in the Indian army who have no control over what's going on in the theatre of operations, and it's all right to stick for them. You would know that as well.

Even I used to believe in the lie that there are 700,000 or 800,000 Indian soldiers in the Valley., As Joe's realistic stats have proved otherwise, it's simply an exaggerated number.

Only common people get carried away by hysteria. We should be more objective even in our criticism.

I will continue to blame the Indian army for dead Kashmiris (it's kinda personal) but I respect Joe for standing for his mates.

Well, you know what they say about love and war.

Well, you know what they say about love and war.

Targeting the civilians is never justified. Even any professional army's internal code of conduct (LOL can't resist that one) prohibits artillery shellings on civilians.

Only Joe and some other Indian vet here can explain why can't the civilian casualties be prevented? On both sides of course...why kill even Pakistani civilians?

Anyway it's a sensitive issue, and I am not that well-informed on this topic.

Not my problem. Please feel as upset as you wish. I felt sorry for a person who seems to be a Dalit from south India - I could be wrong - and they have had a really horrible time for thousands of years. So I will always try to explain to him rationally what might be wrong with any position that he has taken.

Those posts were meant for nobody else, and, to be perfectly honest, I do not have any reason to offer explanations or justifications to those of you with your minds firmly made up on that particular issue.

Long story short, that was not for you. That sounds terribly rude, but it is the exact truth.

India - and nobody else - makes it very easy to criticise India.

The enemies of India - and those who think that they were ever anything else - have never missed any opportunity to attack India. Criticism is a weak, diluted euphemism for what emerges.

You might be surprised to learn that I do not disagree with some of the things you have said above.

About my service, I served in defence production, NOT in the uniformed services. That is where I got the Professional tag.

What was your highest rank?

@Joe Shearer

How can you defend your forces when they place gun position in civilian areas?
How can you defend them when they fire at civilian in Pakistani side of Kashmir?
How can you defend shameless / spineless creature who thinks if Pakistan fire Muslims of IOK killed?

This is the height ugliness of Indian forces mentality...

Sit back and don't try to justify cruelty barbarity of the forces of evil...
