Indian army chief says military ready for short, swift war

Bharat is the 8th biggest economy of the world. Pakistan does not ample resources to fight a conventional war against the 8th biggest economy of the world. Any next war against Bharat has to be definitely an unconventional war. I don't think even a religious fanatic like Moodi can find an unconventional war to be affordable.

It'll be short and swift, because everyone will be dead. This is just bravado, nothing more. Neither side is ready or willing to go to war.

China then and China now are two different entities. Back then, China had no real capability to support Pakistan, now it does.
In those days, China was not yet an established and developed country. The things have now changed. China is now a super and economic power and can afford any action to safeguard her own interests.

In short, a war is not affordable of either of the two rivals. Moodi is unnecessarily trying to demonstrate some misadventure.

Why don't you leave the forum then?

Surrender? Why because you guys ''look scary''? Did Manakshaw look scary? He was superior, and when I meet a superior opponent I will achnowledge it. Right now I can only see stupid army brats talking looks like its a fashion show while failing at english comprehension at the same time.

They have learned nothing from their history :enjoy:
and you have learned the wrong lessons. We have a heritage of thousands of year of defeating bigger enemies and you have heritage of thousand of years of foreign domination. Don't take 1971 or your last three decades of relatively higher economic growth too seriously.

tell this NAIVE Military Chief that india tried operation POKRAM and 2008 buildup on the border only to waste Billions of DOLLARS & walk back with their tails between their legs.

and lost 700 men due to "accidents" while build up.

So yes he is an air head if he thinks a war quick and swift is possible.

Today's pakistan has been defeated by small invading armies for the last 2000 years. There is a reason you have a ridiculous foreign name like Javed or Ahmed. Even right now you are using jets and tanks and artillery and evacuating entire areas and doing this with the help of drones from America just to fight a rag tag TTP.

You talking big words is expected, but hot air does not win you wars or medals in contact sport or shooting. As to what our army chief said, you are are so blinded by your complexes and hatred and an over compensating religious superiority narrative, that you are failing at basic english comprehension. Not great advt for an already bad image of pakistani education system.

War was affordable only in last century, Things have changed a lot. In the modern world no country can afford a war. Look at how US suffered after attacking Iraq. You need to think of implication of war too. Even if china wins a major war with India, What next? Can china afford to have a big country like India with IS militants?

Seriously :D:D:D, first defend your own country, then talk about fighting others and above all winning :enjoy:
