Dude, this statement was made by the chief of Russian AF; not some armchair general spewing his imagination into the cyberspace!

It is ok if you disagree with him. You can put up a post detailing your point of view. Rolling on the floor with a one liner surely does not suffice.

Do you know more about the russian (and even US) arms than the chief of VVS ?

Russian today are nowhere in important spheres especially in Middle east and Central Asia due to this strategic partnership. The chinese are chewing their share like bubble gun. Russia needs to get out of its cold war mindset and start forging new alliances, recognise the clout of China, expand ties with Saudi Arabia and UAE. Have a new policy on releations with Pakistan and act as a balancing power. Does someone find it ironic that bomb blast in Russia coincided with news of joint russo-Pak Afghan initiative??

It is obvious what he meant, there are hardly any type of Russian weapon system which US doesn't have (comparable or better). So saying Russia has unparalleled arms is a, to mildly put, misstatement .

Tell me if I understand you right.
Russia is nowhere in important sphere, cause it has a strategic partnership with India, but USA has clouts in Middle east cause it is an ally of Israel. Also having good relations with Pakistan would increase its clouts.

Russia has institutionalized its relations with Central Asia through several regional organizations: politically-wise with the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS, created in 1991), militarily-wise with the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO, created in 2002) and economically-wise with the Eurasian Economic Community (EEC, created in 2001). Uzbekistan's decision to cut its close ties with Washington in 2005 and to join the EEC and the CSTO in 2006 was an important victory for Moscow. And Of Course the Energy relations with Central Asian Counterparts...

it always amazes me how some and not all of the Pakistanis seem to be china's mouth piece. They are not even subtle about it anymore... every pro or good Indian news is met with " China has " China will" China can" better than you. It may just me, but I think that's a loss of national identity on their behalf...

we don't or at lest I don't see china getting some good news and Indians going nah nah nah boo boo the US has , Us can ,US will. Oh well...
