India Scraps $3 Billion Predator Drone Deal With US: Report

Turkey is a NATO member but under CAATSA sanctions and non aligned in cold war 2. GCC are non aligned in cold war 2.

Just because your big doesn't mean your useful. This is the cognitive bias that led to Obama era USA strategists miscalculations that an India, Kabul, and Iran nexus would check Pakistan and the Taliban in Afghanistan. In the end they could not leading to huge embarrassment for the USA and 20 years of wasted resources. India is not relevant to USA national security nor was it strong enough to dominate S. Asia on the USA's behave. Its strategic importance is vastly overstated by most American foreign policy experts.

Turkey is a NATO member. Is there any part of being a NATO member you do not understand ?

The fight with China is political, military and economic. India is a huge economic market in Asia. USA has won World War 1, World War 2 and Cold War against USSR. USA has alliances of consequence all over the world.

Just like Indian quarrels with Pakistan did not impact US policy during the Cold War with USSR. Pakistani quarrels with India will not impact US policy against China. Pakistani generals understand this and the consequences for Pakistan. Hence the hoopla on geo-economics, not being a part of any bloc, hype on ties with Russia etc.

The worst part for Pakistani generals is that no one in USA or India or China knows how the China-USA rivalry will turn out

India is a huge economic market in Asia.
India is just a large low income country......USA companies like Ford and GM had to leave the Indian market due to low profits. Trade can take place without "strategic partnerships".

This was the biggest blunder of USA policies in Afghanistan.

No. Pakistani's already know that the world has become multi-polar.

You're giving too little credit to politicians cia etc. Its not always black or white. If you can understand about India us relation so easily, same way Indian us experts can also.
So there's some benefit they are getting thats why are pursuing it.
Take example of pak , they were screwing us at the same time pretending to be helping us & us looked the other wway.now same thing 4 India and maybe after 30yrs us might be screwing India lol

Seems like Russian scolding did worked. Wait until west scolds them, they will switch camp again. That's what they are good at.

Look how Indians are hiding in their holes instead of showing alliance.

Whether you like it or not India is the biggest power in Asia after China
Hi,

You can call it biggest population not a nation.
You can call it biggest market not a power.

Yes, you can do it by normalizing relations with neighbors else you are not in a good situation.

Confusion here with outlets saying it was off or on at hold at least, and now they're saying it's on.

The original report was fake, as far as we know, it is still on. Air force has some reservations, army and Navy have given full support.

India is a large low income country whose income is steadily on the rise

For every GM and Ford there are tons of other companies that succeed

US exports (2019)
China $106 billion
Japan $75 billion
India $34 billion
Pakistan $2.6 billion

I will let you figure out the rest

You don't need a strategic partnership to trade. These are military and geo-political in nature......in these areas India has been of little help to the USA.

with the exception of China all of our largest trading partners are strategic partners

Not sure about that claim. The GCC is no longer considered a strategic partner of USA.......they are neutral in cold war 2. You are making my point for me. The biggest change in USA strategic partnerships from Cold war one to cold war 2 has been that China and GCC are out and India is in...........result has been failure.

India got tge brain treatment after seeing usa attitude with ukraine usa has history of leaving allies in middle of war and run away

With shale, electric vehicles and renewable energy GCC is not central to America's future.

Do you want to take your chances attacking Saudi Arabia or UAE ?
