See---this base attack is such a big drama----it is such a fake that the americans have told the indian to take a hike----.

Rajiv Gandhi was actually killed for the opposite reason of what you suggest..He was killed for sending force against the LTTE.

One would assume that TTP works on Indian machinations, I would rather assume that if that was true..then Pakistan would be in far greater mess than now and would be in a civil war at the moment, because Indians don't play it cheap and don't have patience for low intensity conflicts. Not when the proxy they are supposedly handling are so volatile and two faced barbarians that have no loyalty to anyone.

From the policeman doing the taxi service to terrorists receiving calls from mothers to eat well and jihad more and finally the revised and retracted claims over a week of clearing the base made it legit and authentic for our Indian friends. It is like saying the word 911 and the politician wins argument in USA

No question left when our children was killed in coward attack and our universities and polio teams are under attack. Just for record for benefit of all readers I don’t waste time on judging countries when it comes to state sponsored subversions / terrorism against their opponents. Making a moral commentary on covert war is missing the point. It is like rationalising a sexual assault. Indian view is to keep focus on ISI and keep its own operations in the past and present out of discussion.

I have learnt and analysed Indian proxy wars (covert operations & terrorism) inside Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh for some time and I know why India is doing it.

Simple answer is that we make top of their enemy list. Actually we are their only enemy because unlike other Saarc nations (no disrespect to them) we don’t yield or relent to Indian pressures and we fight back even after the breakup we continue to challenge them back.

the small 1962 conflict with China taught India never ever to pick a fight with a bigger power and not even an equal. India has received Western weapons in the name of china but they have been used against Pakistan. I will come to China later. the open hostilities and crossing the international borders in 1971 on the eastern side was only decided once the Indian proxies had done the ground work and total victory was assured. Again I am talking as a matter of fact.

Now that I have got out of the way. I want to comment on the frequent war chants of the Indian leadership.

Modi and his defence minister or security advisor and their army chief, together represent the Indian state and when they boast of their past adventures & threaten Pakistan openly then I find it essential to show this to the readers as something worth comparing with the alleged phone calls of unkown mothers telling their terrorist sons to eat and do much jihad and accept it as a proof of ISI involvement. Do you get my point? We “must” accept the questionable conversation allegedly between terrorists and their handlers and family members inside Pakistan because Indians say so… then in same letter and spirit also NOT ignore what Doval or his other colleagues are talking about.

Coming back to China re CPEC and surge in the BLF terrorism means that Indian policy makers think that the current chaos in Pakistan allows them to be reckless , India not only announced its open displeasure but didn’t hide its intention to sabotage it.

Although the recent outreach of current Baloch Government to the political dissidents and continued laying down of arms by the rebels , the willingness to talk by Herbayar and Bramdagh etc has rattled the Indian planners. Hence we see some desperate attacks across Baluchistan to show us that everything will be done to keep the province volatile and disrupt CPEC.

Again, China, yes.. China is fully appraised and briefed about the challenges of terrorism. Chinese people have been abducted and murdered already.. there is a dedicated force being launched to protect the CPEC and its affiliate work and as the time goes by .. there might be a spike in such attacks but rest assured there will be repercussions for the planners and backers of these attacks.. when and where is everyone’s guess but Baloch Samachar camps and TTP bases in Kunar and Nooristan will be a good starting point.
