ok ! i seriously don't understand , why bangladeshi consider INDIA to be a threat to them? when bangladesh was even weaker INDIA never moved against it. if india wanted to sort of"show off"(in your words), do you even know what would have happened?

The ships capacity is limited to 18 Mig-29K and 8 Ka-28 due to its size and originity. Offcourse, IN may choose to equip it with 20 mig-29K and 5 Ka-28. It depends on whats the mission. If it is to control the sea then it may carry upto 24 Mig-29 with no helicopter, if it is to assault then 12 Mig-29 with 10 Ka-28, in typical mission 18 Mig-29K with 8 Ka-28.

The ship will continue using 6 of its existing Harrier jumpjets till they retire.

As for carrier-killer missiles, we are yet see even a successful test of a ballistic missile hitting a mobile naval target.

An attack on moving objects may need very skillful computing. USA showed worriness when they found a proof that Chinese engineers are near the end of that calculation.

Maybe Bangladesh should go for HMS Ark Royal to satisfy their ego.

BN will never need blue water ships because its needs are limited to the BoB only. An aircraft carrier is needed for those who want to project their power beyound their shores. Bd will never be such a power.

Why are we even discussing a faltu indian carrier? Couple of frigates at minimum 30knots/hr equipped with anti-ship cruise missiles can sink this white elephats in no time. no biggy.
