India raising Arunachal and Sikkim Scouts for China border

Nepal is a very important neighbour of India. They have always been a very helpful neighbour and it is India's duty to ensure that the growth that India is enjoying also converts to gains for Nepal.

Right from Terai to Birgunj and in Kathmandu in the north up to Pokhra, the Nepalis have a great amount of affinity to Indians. The Maoism that is spreading in Nepal is feasting on the poverty of the people. Indian government needs to shake the blinkers and focus on our north eastern neighbour before they are also consumed by the plans of the Chinese communist party.

By the end if we do not help Nepal then they will only become a consumable market for Chinese products and will not have even a little bit of manufacturing left of their own.

Even if India promotes Nepal as a tourist destination, they will get enough revenue to increase their GDP several times.

It is good that the GoI is now awakening and we are helping Nepal with power and other manufacturing projects.

Nepalis have been our brothers since mythlogical times and the relationship with Nepal should be very valuable to every Indian.

Funny how all the Indians just poped up from no where and pretend Nepal is their best ally and their most honest and loyal friend. Which side do u think Nepal is actually on? A emerging world superpower or a regional power?

Illegal annex of Sikkim has alarmed all neighbors around India. Bangladeshis call for “Don’t make Bangladesh another Sikkim.” Nepalese are aware of “Sikkimization of Nepal.”

What discriminations? Open your wimpy eyes and dumb ears to hear the cries from the Sikh
:

Dude, before you diminish much of your overhyped Chinese IQ of 110 or whatever, understand that sikhs are not from sikkim LOL- how ironic and half-baked derivation. Read, understand and then post. Inaccurate facts might deduct 50 cents from your account.

Don't reach to conclusions by adding your personal touch of imagination. Sikhs are from province/state called Punjab. I am a punjabi myself.

India is a diverse nation, some friction is expected yet many Indian minorities here stand by our Tricolor.

And yeah, black president of US don't put an end to grief of blacks or racism but it put their faith in constitution. Americans, like Indians, know that a minority can be illtreated by some bigots or thugs but their country won't betray them.

BTW, isn't it correct that a non-han cannot join CCP and become president ? If yes then your constitution supports those bigots in a way, discriminating ethnically and racially.

And don't even get me started on falun gong or Tibetan monks or east turkistani muslims. Indian system maybe terribly slow and corrupt but once evidence are filed in court, even Prime minister can't be spared. We don't execute and kill citizens without trial like China which executes more prisoners than whole world combined.

Even in September 1962, when Indian troops were ordered to "expel the Chinese" from Thag La, Maj. General J.S. Dhillon expressed the opinion that "“experience in Ladakh had shown that a few rounds fired at the Chinese would cause them to run away."[2][22] Because of this, the Indian army was completely unprepared when the attack at Yumtso La occurred.[7][48]

Turning the table around

Jaswant Singh Rawat - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat was an Indian soldier who won the Mahavir Chakra Bravery Award.

It was the final phase of the Sino-Indian War in November 1962. Even as his company was asked to fall back, Jaswant Singh remained at his post at an altitude of 10,000 feet and held back the rampaging Chinese for three days single-handedly. It is presumed that he shot himself when he realized that he was about to be captured. It is alleged that the Chinese cut off Jaswant Singh's head and took it back to China. However, after the ceasefire, the Chinese commander, impressed by the soldier's bravery, returned the head along with a brass bust of Jaswant Singh. The bust, created in China to honor the brave Indian soldier, is now installed at the site of the battle, a location now known as Jaswantgarh. Jaswant Singh's saga of valor and sacrifice continues to serve as an inspiration to all army personnel posted in this sector. It is a fact that he alone killed more than 300 Chinese Soldiers in the war. He was escorted by one lady of the local village named Bum La during the War It is believed that the soul of this Martyr still protects the whole West Kameng from Chinese Attacks

Army personnel passing by this route, be it a general or a jawan, make it a point to pay their respects here. Jaswant, who was awarded a Mahavir Chakra for his bravery is not the only soldier to be honored thus. There are several memorials built along the way. One of them in fact is right on the border at Bumla honoring Subedar Joginder Singh who won a posthumous Param Vir Chakra for his bravery.

Redo the math, i know you have more IQ than me :yahoo:

So the rest of your army must have been worthless slumdog garbage, as they only killed 400 others total while we killed 1300, 1600 of yours went missing (were blown apart by artillery) and captured 4000 that could've died of lead overdose.

Funny how all the Indians just poped up from no where and pretend Nepal is their best ally and their most honest and loyal friend. Which side do u think Nepal is actually on? A emerging world superpower or a regional power?

Nepal is and should be on its own side.

Neither India nor China is doing Nepal a favour - a fine nation in its own right.

Now, why can't we stick to the subject ?

Lead overdose? You gave them made in china toys to play with in captivity?

We are free to give birth to 2,3,4 children without worrying abt CPC sterilizing us..:rofl:

Mostly, Nepalis are a fine specimen within the human race ... they do not choose friends based on world power index! :-)
Do you choose friends this way? So sorry to hear.
