It's not as easy as 'let's stop the water' and it is. Honestly. At least now we know how they think. Brutality.

You people are clutching at straws here. The 'INDIAN' you people are quoting is to India what Hussain Haqqani is to you.

The only thing he is correct is that India could not divert water of Jhelum, Chenab, and Indus at the moment; but it is so only because India has not developed any infra to divert water due to IWT. Of the three rivers, Indus could not be diverted at all, and Jhelum would be difficult to divert across Pir Panjal, but Chenab, which flows through Himanchal and Jammu (not Kashmir) would be very easy to divert, if India get serious about doing so.

even if there was no IWT.. you will end up inundating half of the IOK displacing millions. Wular like reservoirs are very miniscule for such tasks..you will need dozens of them.. and then u need the right spots to build them u can't just deploy them anywhere you want. Then comes the loans for such a collosal task.. who will take the guarantees that such a collosal spending will "payback" when its actual purpose is to be used as a weapon and not earn money and that too in a disputed land where half the population is ready to set it on fire.

Right folks there is a dedicated thread for this. Anymore IWT threads will get closed.
