Actually the closest thing to an "enemy" ("strategic competitor" is a more appropriate term) that China has is the United States, India is not it, and I don't think they need to be armed with India's brahomos or nuclear "stuff" (no offence intended).

Also I don't think there will be a hot conflict between India and China over southern tibet, if China really wanted to take it by force it would have happened decades ago. I agree that both sides are applying some controlled political and military pressure regarding the border issue, but I do think the Indian media often over-reacts to the actual situation more so than the chinese media. No need to get overly excited and nationalistic about this.
