Yes, every country has a huge population avaliable for military services. The thing is, in a real war the civilian population of ANY country can pose significant resistance; this resistance in the case of the US wouldn't be significantly higher than any others because it is not a function of weapons avaliable, it is a function of the will to resist. Most americans are in the US only because of the money; if the US economy collapses then they'll either flee the country or become enemy supporters. Who is going to risk their lives for the wall street sharks?

Freedoms too. I like that my internet is not censored and Google isn't monitored to death and edited to what the government finds fitting. These are not things i would be willing to give up.

Now that is a riot. The best thing that came out of communist China is the lesson that communist China, like communist Russia/Cuba/North Korea/Viet Nam/et al, is an utter failure. But that lesson is a thing of value, after all. China has not fought a war because China COULD NOT fight any war.
