6 will come from China and 2 will be built in Pakistan and for construction of those two shipyard is gearing up already.

China can build more then one sub simultaneously and it will take 2 years to deliver first sub now you can do the math.
Chinese ALREADY BUILDING five for there navy and many others class in their Facilities
you said after two years you get your first sub then after each year so Likely you will get you full order by 2028 -30 So my point that Pakistan can afford it was Right in this time frame

5th Gen will not arrive before 2025 and J-31 is not only option available to Pakistan, even China have other options available for Pakistan.

PAF may only go for 5th Gen when India will be inducting those.

PAF needs to replace large numbers of old jet and they will need hi lo mix for that and one jet can not fulfill all tasks.
The only option for PAF is JF-17 others are not Economically viable Specially Costly Flankers Although mig-35 is option available

may the best man win
Yeah I will:devil::devil:
Nevertheless it is Funny to See Fan boyish Threads on PDF Last One I Remembered it was About J-10B:guns:

.
You really think it will be possible Do you think IAF will not Done the Same if It is possible We have all help available from Israelis and French on MKI Still we cannot
My god your Assumptions Are so Amateurish Give me one reason why Russians Allow you to do Such thing on there product
Please give me one Example of Such Aircraft operational today
:hitwall:

When Su-30 MKI were initially ordered India was not able to get these upgrades because the Russians still thought SU company is trying to sell motherlands secrets. The only reason India were made the first export order was the fact that USSR considered her a friend.
Hear you need to to watch this...DOCUMENTARY - SUKHOI Fighter Jet Aircrafts Family History - From Su-27 to PAK FA 50 - PlayIt.pk

The main issue came after east and west Germany unification. USA purchased some of the SU-27 than they installed western avionics and to this day they are making systems and are being sold. Russia has started to accept this because they think atleast the engine and frame is getting them US $...Pakistan if finally chooses to purchase these then they are going to customise the aircraft no mater what it costs it is still going to be less expensive as compared to Euro Fighter / Rafale / F-15SA.

.
Every one here is looking at Su-35 are going to be part of PAF and the news has been confirmed.

This is the reality Pakistan Navy requires a naval air arm and they were advised by PM few months back to buy the JF-17. So far there is no confirmation if this has gone through...Some news that has been reported on various internet sources are considering that PN if acquires JF-17's they still require a high end long range platform.

There are options of getting the J-11 series from China and also old F-18's from Australia. Russia offered the Mig-35 but in China when Su-35 made its debut PAF was impressed by the aircraft however on PDF there were pictures that were posted and criticisms on build quality were raised. Comparison of JF-17 build quality and SU-35 were put together and it was suggested that if Pakistan manufactures the Su-35 then the build quality would be similar to western aircraft.

China does no intend to fly the Su-35 that it is considering to purchase it to gain access to its Engine. Now when Pakistan requires the aircraft China got the Russians to give this to Pakistan still that gives China the access to the engine.

J-11D, J-15 & J-16's would be using the same SU-35 engine so in the future so one can not disregard that these might also be considered by PAF in future.
how so ?

JF-17 block 3 hopefully will be 4+ Gen jet but it lack the range and endurance required to go after IN near Gulf of Aden and it can't provide escort to MPAs specially P-3s for long time as they will fly long distance long endurance missions. That is where J-11/Su-35 class jet is needed to do the job.

How much time F-22Ps took from agreement to final delivery?

You Still not Answered the Point Why Russian Let You Upgrade Su-35 With Western Radar Is there any Example

PS: India Officially Buyed Standard Su-30 from Russia Its India Who Added its Modification that customized it into MKI
The following are the components developed by Indian agencies:

    • Mission Computer cum Display Processor - MC-486 and DP-30MK (Defence Avionics Research Establishment - DARE)
    • Radar Computer - RC1 and RC2 (DARE)
    • Tarang Mk2 Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) + High Accuracy Direction Finding Module (HADF) (DARE
    • IFF-1410A - Identification Friend or Foe (IFF)
    • Integrated Communication suite INCOM 1210A (HAL)
    • Radar Altimeter - RAM-1701 (HAL)
    • Programmable Signal Processor (PSP) - (LRDE)
    • Multi Function Displays (MFD) - Samtel/DARE

The contract was signed on 4 April 2006 with the conclusion of negotiations for financing and technology transfer. The first ship was delivered in 30 July 2009, second 23 January 2010 and third one at 15 December 2010. e fourth and last frigate of F-22P series, PNS Aslatwas inducted on 17 April 2013.

It took Seven years For China TO Deliver All 4 F-22p Subs My Figure is Absolutely Right ?Now you Do the math

J-11b is better option and Economical option For PAF than Su-35.Hope it will not go the Path of J-10B

.
If the PAF wants to boost security they should purchase more squadrons of f16s and look for a 4.5 gen aircraft. The PAF should try to negotiate for Greek f16s, all are block 52. Looking at the current condition of the Greek economy, a deal for the sales of f16s are inevitable.

. .
Better PAF to get J-31 than this which a VLO and will come at same price of Su-35
not yet ready the ws-10 engine is not ready but in testing on a jf17

below is the rd-93 engine currently on the jf-17 and on the prototype j31
RD-93.jpg

below is the ws-10 which is to power the j31 and future jf17's

which jet is better J-11B, or J-16?
the j16 is for long range strikes where as the the j-11b is more of a evolved j11a with an aesa radar 700kg reduced weight and more indigenous tech

Yes it is not confirmed...
F-18's do not give any advantage...So it is either Russian or Chinese.

May be you are correct but still say that both JF-17 and a flanker would both be part of PN..
i dont think paf will get the su35 any time soon, its budget is now being prioritised for the navy

russia will not allow any country to have a european or american radar on it's aircraft but avionics yes.

construction of the ships took a lot less time. the last ship was built in Karachi
the Chinese can build things quickly if they want to,

Screen Shot 2015-07-27 at 23.20.53.png

yes you are right the j10b is a more sensible option as it it economically better also the j10b is a very capable aircraft, that will go quiet well against your mki's.russia quietly released this info of Pakistan being interested to push india in to buying the jet. thats all. it's a very Russian thing to do.

.

which is more powerful in weapons payload, variety of weapons, radars, etc

Let's not get too out of control and assume a sale is likely, just because an analyst/expert says that the PAF is a "potential customer/buyer" --

For a sale to occur three main conditions would need to be fulfilled ..

-Russia's willingness to sell its most advanced aircraft in production till date

-A massive makeover of the doctrine currently used by the PAF

-An increase in Pakistan's 'buying/purchasing power' (here the concept of purchasing power is not "only" in terms of the norm transaction of money against product/services)

and hence we can conclude a sale is not likely, atleast in the immediate future -- hence comparing SU-35 with MKI's etc. is of no use because its very unlikely that PAF acquires them in the first place --

Now some Indian members as previously exhibited try to prove (mostly to themselves) that MKI is straight out of star wars, that nothing in the 4.5 gen category "even comes close" because every advantage the MKI has in "ABC" category is the ultimately THE FACTOR that the outcome of the engagement would depend on, and MKI ofcourse having an advantage in that category would come out on top ....

On a serious note what the excerpt of this report suggests should ring alarm bells in the Indian ranks, because the Indo-Russian relationship is or at least was at one point comparable to the Sino-Pak relationship, atleast, in the sense that -- "we have the same enemies" philosophy with Pakistan playing an active part in the collapse of the Soviet Union, whereas India having fought a whole war with China, along with many border skirmishes ...

What this report/analysis suggests, and so have previous reports along with the Russian sales of RD-93 and MI-35 to Pakistan, that it (Russia) is, in simple words, willing to sell its most advanced to Pakistan .. Seems like all the tactics of Pressurizing countries in to not engage in selling military equipment have back fired in the most horrendous way from India's point of view, where its biggest ally is seemingly willing to sell its most advanced equipment to a rivaling country that has had 3 major wars with it (India) ... to top it off, the consideration here is THE SU-35, THE MOST ADVANCED FLANKER in EXISTENCE TODAY... and its being suggested by none other then the Russians themselves...
