This is the submarine I have heard about for Pakistan in 2011. The Qing class 041 with Stirling engine AIP and an all electric propulsion system, it is a 6000 ton (diving) and 3600 tn surfaced, it can lunch missiles and torpedoes from its torpedo launch tubes as well as vertical launchers.there are too many other specs that makes it a unique and very potent platform. The deal was around $ 3.2 billion.

Buy set of 3 +3 from two different countries 3 from china 3 from germany france or sweden u 214 is great but sweedish sub is also very very silent hard to detect

This can be a good strategy but i don't think Europeans wont be giving us the technology we require and moreover they would definitely charge us more than the Chinese for the same thing.

2015 has started and still no news about the signing of the deal. PN needs these subs asap because of continuously rising threat of our neighbors.
