If Pakistan boycotts India at ICC tournaments, they will pay for it: Rajiv Shukla

This is a good move by PCB chairman. But there is an Indian a** licker in PCB called Najam Sethi. He is a political appointee of Sharif with considerable influence. He will not let him do this.

India should be boycotted. Pakistan is the only country which India does not allow in IPL.

I agree..

PCB earns big bucks in an Indo Pak match no matter the venue - it's akin to killing the golden goose for ego.

Yes, and PCB wants to play the series in the UAE as agreed, not in Pakistan. India is bound by the MoU it signed to honor its commitment. It backing out is a cheap move.

this is turning into Dirty game.... Let see Pakistan Boycott India in ICC T20 World Cup... Milk a Milk or water ka water hojana hai
:pop::pop::pop:

Milk a Milk or water ka water hojana hai - great translation Bhai :enjoy:

The title though unchanged from source is misleading. What Shukla said was not a threat as the title suggest but just fact that if Pakistan choose to boycott it would have to bear the fine according to ICC rules.

Who would read this news if the Title was to be so bland as you suggest. Hum desi bande hai. Thoda masala dalo na..

Screw cricket. Football is what Pakistan should be focusing on.

Actual we need USA, Russia, Japan and China to start playing cricket. Tab ayega asli maza.

I think the opinion about BCCI cheatery and trickery is unanimous across the subcontinent....

The caption says "We have used the Bangladesh-made Mustafiz Cutter - you can too!"

And dont forget Pakistan cricket has second biggest number of followers(200 million) after indians so dont act like you are number one and we are at the bottom
Its not the viewership alone but the money that you can bring in to cricket. Money drives everything.

There are only 10 members of ICC. 1 of them Zimbabwe is on the verge of losing membership. People also demanded to remove Bangladesh from ICC last year but their recent performance is quite good but still its a long way to go for them.

This is the overall record of team wins in ODI cricket. Despite India playing alot more matches still it is one match behind but their loss ratio still got big difference.

If BCCI wants to bankrupt Pakistan Cricket and vanish it from Cricket world. Remember many people in India will also lose interest in cricket and Pakistan is second best cricket team and second largest country by population in cricket world. Pakpassion forum is most popular cricket forum which was only cricket for Pakistan cricket but is now the most popular international forum of cricket.

There is hardly any sportsman spirit in India.

There's no commitment of playing in the UAE.

Cricket World Cup 2015: India v Pakistan to join the most watched sporting events in history

FORGET Ben Hur, Sunday’s World Cup clash between India and Pakistan is set to be 10 times bigger than the Super Bowl, putting it on the podium of the most-watched sporting events of all time.

More than a billion people are expected to be glued to TV sets around the globe when the two bitter rivals kick off their respective tournament campaigns in front of 50,000 fans at the Adelaide Oval.

Puts the US record of 114.4 million viewers that tuned into last week’s nail biter between New England and Seattle into perspective doesn’t it?

It also ranks it right alongside last year’s FIFA football World Cup final, when more than a billion viewers around the world watched Germany defeat Argentina, and above the 2010 final between Spain and the Netherlands, which drew an approximate TV audience of 909.6 million.

Should predictions of Sunday’s ratings bonanza prove on the money, it’ll also trump the previously most watched match in cricket; the 2011 World Cup semi-final between the same two cricket-mad nations which drew an estimated TV audience of 988 million.

Speaking ahead of the World Cup’s opening fixtures this weekend, tournament chief executive John Harnden was understandably enthusiastic about the pulling power of the subcontinental showdown.

“If you look at since the last Cricket World Cup and the work the ICC has done to expand its broadcast footprint around the globe, this could very well be the most watched game of cricket at that point in time in the history of cricket,” Harnden said.

“More than a billion TV viewers are expected to watch Sunday’s game which sold out in 20 minutes... (and) when we put some further tickets on sale in November, they were literally gone in seconds.

“Then when you look at the tourism profile of that match, about 75 per cent of fans that are going to be in that stadium on that day are from outside South Australia.

“So that passion, from all around the world … I actually think it’s going to be something that probably in this country we’ve never experienced before.”

The fixture is also set to reignite one of the most passionate rivalries in sport, which has tempered somewhat in recent years given bilateral cricketing ties between the two nations were put on the backburner after the 2008 Mumbai terrorist attacks.

The first series in five years between the two countries was a short ODI and T20 tour of India made by Pakistan in 2012/13, though the two sides are slated to clash in an Indian tour of the United Arab Emirates - comprising two Tests, five ODI’s and two T20’s - later in 2015.

India, still yet to record a win at Test or ODI level on Australian soil despite having been on tour for the past two months, will be desperate to get their World Cup defence off to a successful start and regain some much needed confidence in the international arena.

On the other side of the ledger Misbah ul-Haq’s Pakistani outfit will be out to reverse a worrying historical trend before the expected record audience, with India triumphant in the five previous clashes between the neighbouring countries at World Cup level.

Stupid move if at all by PCB. Like it or not BCCI is a powerful entity and PCB can't match it. Rest only time will tell however given there is hardly any series happening in Pakistan the last thing they would want to do is pick up a fight with BCCI....
When India does it, it is OK when Pakistan does it it is a stupid move. Stop your Indian biased snake natured agenda to weaken Pakistan Cricket because we will beat India soon.

...
Actual we need USA, Russia, Japan and China to start playing cricket. Tab ayega asli maza.
They won't bother much with cricket. They focus on larger, and more exciting, games like Football, Rugby and Baseball.

Its not the viewership alone but the money that you can bring in to cricket. Money drives everything.
Money is all about viewership.

There is no other media darling in cricket like pak india match. Even Ashes series or any match between other crickiting giants cant compete pak india match.

Pakistan should change the constitution....no bilateral cricket with India for next 50 years.
