If Bipin doesn't need an extension then why does Bajwa need one?

In reality, Bipin Rawat is on extension, in any other professional army he would have been fired after dismal failure on 2/27

General Bajwa is given an extension because it is the government's prerogative to keep the chief of Army, Navy or Airforce as long is it wants. there is no prescribed tenure for any of the service chiefs.

The normal process for extension is

1. The PM holds a cabinet meeting about the extension.
2. The cabinet agrees to the extension.
3. A notification of this extension is forwarded to the President.
4. The President signs off on the extension. Done.

Now, for whatever conspiracy theory reason, the Prime Minister did not hold a cabinet meeting on the extension on 19 August 2019 but instead wrote a piece of note and handed to General Bajwa, here budd, here's your extension and patted him on the back.

The President on 12 September 2019 says, he's still not received any extension notification to sign off.

Some unknown individual files a petition in the Supreme Court that General Bajwa does will not have a legal extension after 29 November 2019 because the President has neither received an extension notification nor he's signed it off.

Still, by 25 November 2019, the PM does not bother to hold a cabinet meeting but leads the nation to believe that General Bajwa has the extension.

On 26 November 2019, the Supreme Court rejects the extension.

Of course, by 26 November 2019, the PM is forced to hold two emergency cabinet meeting, a lawyer is sacked, cabinet approves, President signs off and the court is like what is all this nonsense? Government says, they didn't know the process for extension. Supreme Court says okay and give the General only six months extension in which time Government is asked to learn and set up a method for giving extension.

Today, on 20 December 2019, the Government still has not initiated a process for giving extension ?

There's no crises taking place with Indian Army Chief General Rawat Bipin's retirement at the end of this month. But our Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa must have an extension because time is very nazuk on the Pakistani side.

Can Pakistan Army not handle the Indian pressure without General Bajwa?

What's so special about General Bajwa that he must stay no matter what and create a political and judicial disaster in the country during this very nazuk time in Pakistan?

India will always be the priority but the mess in Afghanistan has also to be dealt with.

Gen Bipin Rawat has a term length, 3 years or 62 years, he completed 3 years he will retire. Besides it's not war time. No generals in IA has served more than 3 years. Except one General on the younger side who served 4 years.

Is your issue why Bajwa is getting an extension or the nitty gritty of the processes followed by the govt.?
Your and opposition only issue is Bajwa’s extension. The examples of your ideals like Bipin doesn't apply to Pakistan. With its history of martial laws its imperative that PM has a good understanding with the Army chief. So far IK and Bajwa are on same page despite tough circumstances. You and your ethnofacist party understands this well - hence you want IK to roll the dice again and hope a new Army chief would be a better bet to influence and help your agenda of dislodging the govt.
Your lectures on procedures and ideals are just BS and a front to hide your ulterior motives in this space - I mean you are coming from a party who has NS PM, little brother CM, Samdi F Min, Shahbaz having 15+ ministries, God knows how many times the fat emperor even held cabinet meetings.
