maybe because military is the only institution which is competent while the rest are bunch of pathetic useless good for nothing civilians! Every country is run differently, some will introduce new laws like elect LGBTQ member for president or PM while some wont. Pakistan can not be run like the west because our system was left over by british empire which made sure we remain slaves to corrupt politicians while they continue plunder and loot for the same empire. No wonder why Britian loves our politicians.
Bajwa is more experienced then a new COAS and currently (we all dont know the real situation) Pakistan is on verge of going to a war with India and being a smaller military it would be a wise decision!
