Jigs;1689949]With what ?

In fact with nothing, whether they call it MKI Bachan or so, it is the reality. Air forces which have air superiority fighters like F-15s & Su-30s know their advantage

What are these multipliers exactly that cancel out the MKI's radar range. Are you implying meeting a SU-30MKI with multiple aircraft at once would neutralize its advantages somehow ? It would just shoot all of them down. Then turn around and leave.

DO i need to remind some people here that at its induction the SU-30MKI was one of the most advanced aircraft in the world ? That was on 04 it is still a very capable aircraft now. Underestimating it wouldn't be a wise choice. Objective thinking would entitle this.

Right, in the early 2000s, it was the most advanced air craft in the world, before F-22.

People who are arguing that PAF has nothing to counter the MKI really need to go through the thread with the PAF pilot's interview. He tells the tale of the 3 RAF typhoons which were downed in the Anatolian Eagle exercise by the PAF.

Downed with what? guns? heat seekers?

Most of Indians saying that SU-30 is airsuperiorirty and PAF hav no reply .............Let me tell u (Indians) that F-16 Block 52 can counter SU-30's.
PAF already practiced it against F-15's few months ago.

Thats the answser to Indians who think PAF hav no reply of SU-30.

^^ We have few F-16 blk 52+ parked at Kalaikunda air base to practice with (SAF), so if you think with few month's of practice with F-15 with Blk 52+(that too got few months back) can counter MKIs, good luck to you.

Interceptor Aircrafts are designed To Counter Air superiority Aircrafts

Intercept aircraft sacrifices capabilities of the air superiority fighter (i.e., fighting enemy fighter aircraft) by tuning their performance for either fast climbs or high speeds. The result is that interceptors often look very impressive on paper, typically outrunning, outclimbing and outgunning less specialized fighter designs. Yet they tend to fare poorly in fighter-to-fighter combat against the same "less capable" designs due to limited maneuverability

PAF have proven F-7PG's that move with 2.2 Machs....the most fast, Agile (Sharp manevers) Aircrafts in Pakistan Airforce.

Oppss, then there is no chance for MKIs, it will be eaten alive by F-7PG.

The Chengdu Jian-7 (Chinese: 歼-7; export versions F-7) is a People's Republic of China-built version[1] of the Soviet Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21. Though production ceased in 2008 it continues to serve, mostly as an interceptor, in several air forces.

F-7 is nothing but a Mig 21.Only advantage is that they are quite new as compared to India's Migs

With what ?

You really haven't been following threads have you, whats so great about the MKI that makes it invincible? With a huge RCS like that, PAF can see it coming from miles away.

What are these multipliers exactly that cancel out the MKI's radar range. Are you implying meeting a SU-30MKI with multiple aircraft at once would neutralize its advantages somehow ? It would just shoot all of them down. Then turn around and leave.

Well it sure can take a shot, but definitely the other aircrafts will take a shot too. Considering both India and Pakistan are next to each other, most fights will take place in visual range or max distance of 40km. The multipliers cancels out MKI's huge radar range, that is the biggest asset that is placed on the MKI. For MKI to shoot multiple aircrafts is laughable at best, if our aircrafts go 1 on 1 than you have a point but fortunately wars are not fought 1 on 1. Did you see the PAF back off after the Mumbai attacks, the Indians tried to act naughty and sent an MKI to snoop around. The PAF responded with an iron fist, the MKI was locked and tailed by the F16 throughout.

No one is saying that MKI is a bad fighter, its good very good but its certainly not a God's Gift to Aviation as our Indian friends make it out to be. Indians must be day dreaming if they think the MKI can enter our airspace without being shot down.
