Exactly! Elon Musk is calling that guy out to please publicly post this magical $6Billion solution to solve World Hunger so we can all examine it before stating Elon should just blindly hand the UN a check.

Of course instead of replying with a summary of it the guy just said "Oh uh we can get together to discuss it..."

He does need to hand the UN a dime, unless they show a plan, and even then he can go straight to the farmers and corporations to help modernize farming himself, as a pilot program, which the UN can implement broadly.

They should look to expand the Ethiopian model.

He is just mocking Elon Musk. World hunger is a money making issue. 6 billion won’t cut it. As hunger is justified for more corruption that far exceeds 6 billion. It could even be a military industrial complex issue. So 6 billion is just a drop in the bucket for those guys.

WTF? The solar panels that caught fire are the type you are claiming are better than Tesla solar shingles. They are probably made by some Chinese company and/or Panasonic.

When Tesla comes out with their own in-house glass solar shingles (which have never caught fire BTW) you rip at them for not using the traditional ones they were using that catch fire.

Chinese solar modules have never been caught lighting on fire. If they did, you'd never hear the end of it from the mainstream media. Let alone multiple cases.

It's funny though. Let's just say that Tesla imported the wafers from Panasonic. OK, well the wafers by themselves don't do anything. A solar wafer just sits there. It's the wiring that actually allows the current to flow. It's how the modules are assembled that can cause safety issues. That's all Tesla. How come only Tesla solar panels light on fire then? How come Panasonic branded panels don't light on fire?

If they can't even properly wire simple solar panels that are brain dead easy to connect with a single wire, I'd love to see them master solar shingles that are all individually wired. Yes, I agree that Tesla solar shingles have never caught fire. I've never caused a plane crash either. I must be the greatest pilot in the world. Hmm. maybe it's because they don't have a broad enough installation base. With ~100 installs nationwide it's a fucking joke, there's more god damn private jets and yachts than Tesla roofs and it's not because it's extremely expensive either.

Hunger is an artificial problem. Think of the hundreds of millions of wastrel Indian middle class people feeding the 40 million street dogs in India daily yet many people in India and the world going hungry. Think of the so many people in the world doing three religious pilgrimages every five years to selfishly collect divine points for themselves while letting others artificially socio-economically deprived around them go hungry. Think of the generally non-contributing few billion middle class globally who don't think of the hungry and the artificially poor.

Only one way to solve the global hunger problem is massive adoption of Vertical Farming and general Urban Farming. Do it in the cities and for the current rural areas convert those areas to townships whose population is composed of those who were living in 20 villages in that area. And build Vertical Farms and Urban Farms at neighborhood level in these new townships and giving the residents the lifestyle that city folk enjoy but in harmony with Nature and remaking the political and socio-economic system of the country to be harmonious. No citizen of a country will go hungry this way.

Tesla should invest in nuclear fusion, that itself can make Elon a trillionaire.

Nuclear fusion is not required at least for Earth. There are simpler and better alternatives which I have described in my comment in the OP of this thread. They are meant for decentralized, device-level power.
