Do you not think that it is a waste of resources for China to produce another 700 or so J-10-variant fighters?

It may be better to stop at 500 and then focus on making as many J-20/J-31 5th generation aircraft as possible.

Of course, it is likely that hundreds more J-10s will be produced for export by 2020

Dear brother, J20 is very expensive nealy 120 miilions USD per, we can't take that much even China has huge GDP. J10B as a standard 4.5 gen fighters will be very useful in the next decade.n As long as WS15 massive produced, China will export J10b as many as possible.
