Hong Kong Protests: Thousands protest against extradition bill

Protests in Hong Kong took a violent turn on Sunday night. Riot police fired tear gas in an attempt to disperse anti-government protesters. The protests in the Chinese territory are now in their seventh week. They're the most serious challenge to Beijing's authority since Hong Kong was handed back to China in 1997. I’ve been saying it for a long time. The handover of Hong Kong was a mistake. The lease obligation was to the Qing Dynasty, NOT to the communist PRC. If anything, HK should’ve been handed over to the actual successor state to the Qing: Taiwan.

And regardless of all that. The Queen handed Hong Kong over on the stipulation that their sovereignty and political freedom would not be infringed for 50 years. The Chinese are ignoring that. As far as I’m concerned, that should render the handover null and void and they have every right to sail the RN back into Victoria Harbour and claim the SAR as a British protectorate.

Thats fair, thats why VN govt keep trying hard to creat more good jobs to the ppl ( trying to invite Samsung, Apple to invest in VN, signed FTA wt EU to attract BMW , Bosh investment etc).

When the govt failed to creat enough good job ( like Beijing, Lybia, Syria govt') then that Govt will be overthrow by their ppl. Thats the life, dude
