It clear that Chinese, at least ones writing here, still feel personally humiliated because they lost wars against much smaller Britain in the 1800's.

China has plenty of reason to hate Britain. However if Britain was able to move on with its life and respect China’s sovereignty, then things would be perfectly fine. However Britain, which is now a tired has been, continues to try to meddle with and sabatoge China every chance it gets, and that’s a very stupid posture to take considering how weak modern Britain is and how much weaker it will be in the decades to come.
