It's not that; there are many supporters of peaceful resistance/co-existence in Palestine BUT you have to remember that too many people are profiting from this mess.

Israel is the raison d'etre for Hamas, without this call to war they'd be irrelevant - so they will never welcome peace. The same for their equivalents in Israel.

The rest of the world is busy selling them arms, collecting charity on their behalf or using the situation for political mileage...

In the end, the equation is simple: more people profit from the ongoing violence than do from peace.

And people here getting emotional over the situation need to be more pragmatic. Our countries have much worse problems that our money and efforts need to be focussed on.

Pakistan's political and military leadership is full of compromisers and corrupt individuals unable and unwilling to steer the country forward, be it economically or in foreign relations. This reality is the only thing benefitting India, and if ever resolved, then believe me, your country's leaders won't be as confident or sure about being able to keep Kashmir out of Pakistan's hands. Pakistan's woeful leadership has done more harm to Pakistan and Pakistanis than India, Nawaz Sharif is your savior.
