Hindu-Muslim riots in Meerut: 2 killed

@Armstrong, I understand what you are trying to say!! I am not talking about innocent muslims here who care nothing about this but their life.. But I for one afraid to these kind of actions.. Honestly, is this kind of actions what started in Pakistan and look at what common Pakistanis are suffering because of it.. I am not bring Pakistan to demean you.. But it is a good example for us to watch and learn..Political parties trying to appease people in the basis of religion is becoming a headache to our country.. And to be frank, oil money is also flowing here more than you know.. People are getting more and more intolerant towards other religion.. Its what we seen all over the world.. These kind of actions will be resulted in wide spread religious attacks all over India in which common people belong to Hindu and Muslim religion will suffer.. Ultimately, its our country who is going to pay the price for it.. I have friends which belong to Hindu and Muslim community.. They do not have much affiliation towards their religion rather than going to pray in their respective holy places.. I cannot stand them suffer because some idiots try to proove that their religion is good than other..

i am not exactly from hyd but whatever i hear or see in news and net hyd is a strong hold of vhp and bajrangdal.even in old city they are holding rallies on hanuman jayanti.there is a strong leader like raja singh who has become a pain in the neck for MIM.old city is no more how it used to be in 90s.telangana hindus are not cowards.they are fighters

bro , read my post once again and if u ever went deep in to muslim majority areas u would have known what i was talking about... and yes vhp/hinduvahini/bajaraangdal has good presence in hyd compared to rest of the state it is mainly bcoz muslims vote as chunk to mim wch is anti-hindu and hindus started affiliating themselves to organisations like vhp to safeguard themselves....
and abt rajasingh , wat else he could do solely when the state govt favours mim ?? recently when he visited saroornagar to inaugurate the shivaji idol he was stopped by the local police frm inaugurating....

@Nair saab @seiko - I hope that both the Muslims & the Non Muslims take a moment of pause & realize that always the quotation that 'there is my version, there is your version & then there is the truth', rings true ! And that no step is taken that leads to terrible ruin of either Community & the Country at large.

Muslims.....
why cannot they live peacefully with others?

any philosophy which divides ppl as you and we,my path alone leads to heaven,we are beloved ppl of god and you will be hell dwellers instills an arrogant thinking and attitude in their followers.instead of seeking spirituality they indulge in worldly matters?place a mullah,a hindu and a buddhist monk on a same dias;while one person looks like a murderer filled with ego the other two look calm and serene

recently in hyd , some muslim thugs enterd a hanuman temple at night and placed the head of a cow , and its legs in a bag.. morning when hindus found it and started protesting , the govt immediately crubbed the protesters with latticharge and there was no news in the papers/t.v channels .....

during hanuman jayanthi the muslim mosques and madarssas will be covered with clothes/tents from top to bottom.... showing their antipathy towards hindus.....

Cant agree with you more, but the terrible thing is that, by criticizing these kind of actions , a common man would be branded as not so secular and other kind of words you see a lot here... People are afraid to point fingers at the evil because they are afraid that they will be branded as intolerant to other religions.. And politicians are afraid because of the fear of loosing vote bank..

who will be the losers in the end with such hate?

But the same is done by TOI.

So whats the difference between "secular" and non secular media then?

Simple. :) If the people who did in the riots are Muslims, then they highlight Hindutva, RSS, Bajrang dal, or whatever comes to their mind.
If the people who died in the riots are reversed, it becomes, fight between two communities.
Secular Media :)

Riots are not often covered by the Indian media and the death toll is greatly reduced. In our Lucknow there used to be many riots. I know some people who lost family members in riots in Hyderabad. Outside the Andhra Pradesh High court a number of people were burned alive just because they were Muslim even though they did not follow Islam at all.

My own family is largely from Lucknow. My Ansari side is from Barabanki. We're lucky we escaped that place and came to Pakistan. Our grandparents and parents sacrificed everything to come to Pakistan. Today I am a proud Pakistani who will gladly die for his nation if called upon to do so.

It is a pity that the situation in Pakistan itself has deteriorated.

B... $h..t, next one please.

Your Lucknow ??:cuckoo:
I'v been living here since 25 years, tell me more about it.:what:
Dont concoct stories from your backside. Yes there used to be riots in Lucknow but those were not Hindu-Muslim riots rather Shia-Sunni riots, even that have been controlled to a large extent with some sporadic clashes during muharram. Lucknow is more peaceful than the most peaceful city in Pakistan.

You know inside your heart that you are highly unlucky that your grandparents migrated from a beautiful and peaceful city to a hellhole which was destined to be a hellhole since 1947 sooner or later and whose condition will only furhter deteriorate.
