You publicly claim you have no problems with Hindus while hiding behind your Ethnicity card and then at the same time talking about open borders with Pakistan. Cmon, people can see through it.
Nonsense point lol sorry Open borders with Pakistan makes me anti Hindu? You think average Pakistani will come in and murder Hindus? We lived together for centuries

.
Next time you go to Punjab, ask your average Sikh this question verbatim: "What do you think about Bihari and UP bhaiyyas? Would you be ok with them settling in mass numbers in Punjab?" Let's pause here, I'll wait until your next trip to Punjab. They just haven't come to the realization that I have that unchecked immigration from less prosperous parts of India will be the downfall of Punjab
See you are conflating Punjabi identity and the Sikh religion.

What you are saying is basically what the Shiv Sena say in Maharastra in regards to UP and Biharis.

Biharis and UP's are everywhere, once development comes to those places they will go back. They have all rights to be in Punjab or any other part of the country to look for jobs. Until now, i have not found a single average PUnjabi who had a problem with immigration. And no, again you are trying to divide the nation by making false claims of Punjab's having reservation on BIharis and UP...

Then this isn't Khalistan (which itself is a totally delusional idea) you are proposing, this is something like "Punjabistan" for, as you know Sikhism is a religion, not an ethnicity.

Either way, any fragmentation of India is beyond a pipe dream at this point. You personally may have a problem with different regions of India mixing but this is entirely natural and will form the strength of the nation going foreward.

Yeah call it Punjabistan, I have said openly I'm not a Sikh separatist but I'm a separatist alright. I also agree fragmentation is a pipe dream but I disagree with your conclusion. It will be the undoing of the nation. Anyway, even if you disagree with me, hope you'll agree that I answered your questions candidly.

Pretty much, I'm not conflating the two. I guess they got conflated because of the title of this thread.

You want to protect your ethnicity while opening borders with Pakistan and stopping immigration from India. WTF are you on about bro

time for bed now, talk to u later

.
You're Punjabi! Admit it, we have nothing in common looks wise, clothes, language, body type, food with them.

@raj76 I was candid with you, mind admitting it as well if you are an honest person?

Would you mind elucidating this statement ? :azn:

Pakistanis are a majority Punjabi state, so open borders with Punjabistan. No immigration from the rest of India but cordial relations and cooperation on trade, security etc

Would you mind elucidating this statement ? :azn:

Without being offensive I can't sorry lol

Then I'm questioning your statement about having travelled to Punjab (or was it the other guy? in which case I'm sorry). But there is widespread resentment in Punjab about the crime and other nuisance these people cause in Punjab.

People from Bihar and UP are all too easy targets across India simply because a) there are so many of them (what, 20-25% of the entire Indian population comes from these states?) and b) both states are so underdeveloped (largely due to the population being so huge).

Everyone likes to have a scapegoat, in the UK it is the Poles/Chavs/Benefit "scroungers", in India it is the Biharis/UPs. As a race we still are far too quick to fall back into this tribalism but we are changing and the very success of India is a showcase of this.

For the sake of India though, UP and Bihar really do need to sort their $hit out, electing the Yadevs back was a stupid move in Bihar, hopefully UP makes a smarter choice.

I appreciate the fact that at least you were honest about the resentment that people have against Biharis and UP people, thanks for that. Instead of circle jerking on a Pakistani forum about India is a utopia and EVERYBODY loves each other and gives each other hugs...

Sure, you've been candid throughout and I appreciate that as I think it has helped to draw out your views and to appreciate what you are saying.

Whilst I disagree with you on a fundamental level I can at least understand why you have said what you have.

My experience on PDF is that the vast majority of Indians will be the first to deride UP/Bihar and highlight the issues encountered by them. In fact, it was on PDF (from Indians) that I first learnt of the term "BIMARU" ( a term coined to group the four most economically deprived Indian states) the very fact that it is only really Bihar and UP that are clubbed together these days shows that things have improved elsewhere but UP/Bihar remain problem children (and given their vast population/land mass it really is no surprise)

Indian is only going to prosper as one, with UP and Bihar acting as dead weights around its neck India will remain in the dirt, the answer is not simply to cut the "bad fruit" from the tree (seperation) but to work together to develop pan-India, as one.

+I really don't think any Indians try to make out India is a "utopia", in fact they are more self-critical than I think they need to be in most cases.

2K should be foreign policy’s first priority - Kashmir and Khalistan

OCTOBER 2, 2016 BY MUHAMMAD ALI BAIG

Kashmir and Khalistan

The so-called Indian secular state is overshadowed by the existence of extreme right-wing organisations like Arya Samaj, Rashtriya Swamsavek Sangh, Bharatiya Janata Party, Shiv Sinha, Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Preshad

Foreign policy can be defined as the resistance offered by a state to the pressure coming from the international system. An efficient and pragmatic foreign policy of a state is the definitive bludgeon to secure international objectives and policy goals.Quite often, the foreign policy itself of a state depending upon the decision-makers significantly helps the state in securing domestic as well as international objectives. Pak foreign policy has always been dominated by its leaders and they have decisively shaped their external relations overshadowed by their personality and motivation.

The term “2K” stands for Kashmir and Khalistan. Both regions have a lot in common. It is a reality that Kashmir and Khalistan movements are the matter of international concern, since oppressed Muslims of Kashmir and suppressed Sikhs of India demand independence from Hindu-dominated India. Independence movements in Kashmir and Khalistan are the result of Hindu orchestrated and state-sponsored terrorism. The right of self-determination was envisioned in the United Nations Charter in 1945, and it clearly gives the right of independence to Kashmiri Muslims and Sikhs of India.

The Kashmiri Muslims made their choice to join Pakistan at the time of partition in 1947, but were deprived of their will and freedom by India. India has been a historic usurper and a violent power when it comes to human rights and the rights of minorities. It is not a surprise that Indian leadership is in a continuous control of extremist Hindu organisations that are ruthlessly pursuing their objective of “Hindutva” and “Akhand-Bharat” (Greater India). The so-called Indian secular state is overshadowed by the existence of extreme right-wing organisations like Arya Samaj, Rashtriya Swamsavek Sangh, Bharatiya Janata Party, Shiv Sinha, Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Preshad.

Operation Bluestar in 1984 was not aimed to remove alleged militants from Golden Temple but it was focused to fake Sikh identity and religion. It reflects Indian Hindu-mind that Indian army’s Major General Shabeg Singh, who played a significant role in training “Mukti Bahni” to fight Pakistan, was killed along with Jarnail Singh Bhindrawale, for raising voice in favour of Sikh rights and freedom. The assassination of PM Indira Gandhi by her two Sikh guards was neither an individual nor an act of terrorism but it reflected the earnest desire of Sikhs to liberate themselves from the clutches of extremist Hindus.

It is imperative for Pakistan to enhance its support for the troubled and distressed Sikhs of India who enjoy more religious liberty in Islamic Pakistan as compared to so-called secular India. The support of Pakistan for Sikhs must not remain limited to diplomatic and political sectors but Pakistan may train and arm Sikh insurgents on the same pattern as India geared up and organised “Mukti Bahni”. The actions of Pakistan regarding Sikhs of India and Muslims of Kashmir have moral and ethical foundations and the abuse of human rights give Pakistan a just reason to help Indian Sikhs and Muslims.

Sikh people made enormous struggle for India and it is on record that many soldiers in Indian armed forces come from Sikh families. But it is quite strange that they are still treated as second class citizen in all of India. Sikhs are a distinct nation by every definition of a nation and their demand for a separate state is their natural right. Jarnail Singh Bhindrawale, a martyr of Sikh Independence Movement, clearly believed that Sikhs cannot live with Hindus who exploited and betrayed Sikh nation right through the course of history.

The Organisation for Minorities of India (OFMI), an Organisation, which is responsible for bringing out news about Indian atrocities towards Sikhs and Muslims, has declared in its recent report that the Indian government has always sponsored violence against minorities using state-resources and apparatus. It is the moral and diplomatic obligation of Pakistan to help innocent Sikhs in India and Muslims of Kashmir from Indian butchers and their atrocities. The level and intensity of Indian propaganda against Pakistan can only be met with reciprocal proportionality.

The Organisation for Minorities of India (OFMI), an Organisation, which is responsible for bringing out news about Indian atrocities towards Sikhs and Muslims, has declared in its recent report that the Indian government has always sponsored violence against minorities using state-resources and apparatus

PM Nawaz and his cabinet have to raise the issues of Kashmir and Khalistan to their foremost foreign policy priority. Solid steps are needed to put an end to Indian persecution of Sikhs and Muslims. The oppression of India can only be dealt with compassion for the victims of Indian state-sponsored violence and ethnic cleansing. Perhaps the personality and motivation of PM Nawaz is a stumbling block hindering Pakistan’s support for Khalistan and Kashmir. PM has to realise the situation and alter his approach towards India. An independent and sovereign Khalistan is the destiny of Indian Sikhs and the “Anschluss” (reunion) between Pakistan and Indian-Occupied-Kashmir is the ultimate fate of Kashmiri Muslims.

Let's see how long it lasts when people from overpopulated parts of India continue moving into Punjab like they have been doing for decades.

But can you please tell @Star Wars that people do have a problem with bhaiyye? He seems to think I'm Pakistani because I dared to say that.. :P

Buddy, agriculture will not die - people have to eat. On the contrary, people will be forced to work in the fields and that will partly solve the drug menace problem. Also wages will go up and farmer suicides will go down.

Cheap labor benefits the people doing it but almost never benefits the society which is getting it.

Khalistan - separation along religious lines. Me: Separation along ethnic lines...
OMG, there are folks like you too, demanding 'Punjabistan' or are you one-of-a-kind?

Boundaries: Punjab, Haryana, parts of Rajasthan, Himachal, Jammu...
Still vague answer!
What do you mean by Punjab, since erstwhile Punjab now falls in two separate countries, please clarify whether you want both or not.....

Sikhs wanted to stay where they were, the political leadership joined India so they had to migrated because there was rioting in both Punjabs...
I think, You have insufficient and/or inaccurate knowledge about the history of the Indian subcontinent and hence about the history of your own forefathers.
The partition of India was on the basis of Muslims vs other religions NOT Hindus vs other religions, so, when Punjab was partitioned Muslims in west Punjab were killing both Hindus and Sikhs, as a result, in east Punjab, Muslims were the target, Hindus and Sikhs were not fighting. If the political leadership joined India against the opinion of the common Sikhs to remain in Pakistan, then the situation would have been just the opposite, Sikhs would be fighting with Hindus in east Punjab and migrating to west Punjab.

Your last question: Why don't SIkhs support Palestine? Other separatist movements in the world? It's not their fight, they are ignorant of the issues.
How come kashmir is your fight? moreover, since the Kashmir movement includes Jammu, how can you support the movement when you too have demand over Jammu for your 'independent state'? it's counterproductive!
Do you guys even think before taking up animosity.....or is it just that you are brainwashed like the separatists usually are.
