Says the Godse Bhakt. When you are anonymous, you don't have to hide your inner feelings. Look at your fellow Sanghis, they are unapologetic about their connections and ideology.I am a strong supporter of Mahatma Gandhi and respect what he did for India.
It was the muslims who led and played the major part in the Independence war of 1857(I understand that this is not taught in your Shakhas), but let me enlighten youIt is a fact the Muslims did everything in their power to back stab Independence movement of India
Indians start the First Rebellion of India against British rule in 1857
Bakht Khan was commander-in-chief of Indian rebel forces. In Delhi alone, the number of Muslims executed during 1857-58 was 27,000( In the annals of archives Qaiser-ul-Tawarikh mentioned that the number of Muslims executed only in Delhi during 1857-58 was 27,000, not to speak of those killed in the general massacre).
Infact the first ever Indian rebellion against the British was the Vellore Mutiny of 10 July 1806 which was led by descendants of Tipu Sultan.
This rebellion predates the Sepoy Mutiny of 1857, as a result of which mostly upper-class Muslim rebels were targeted by the British, as it was under their leadership that the war was fought, mostly in and around Delhi; thousands of their relatives were shot or hanged near the gate of The Red Fort in Delhi, which is now known as "Khooni Darwaza" ("the Bloody Gate").
Other famous Muslims who fought for independence against British rule were Abul Kalam Azad, Mehmud Hasan of Darul Uloom Deoband, who was implicated in the famous Silk Letter Conspiracy to overthrow the British through an armed struggle, Husain Ahmed Madani, former Shaikhul Hadith of Darul Uloom Deoband, Ubaidullah Sindhi, Hakeem Ajmal Khan, Hasrat Mohani, Syed Mahmud, Professor Maulavi Barkatullah, Zakir Husain, Saifuddin Kichlu, Vakkom Abdul Khadir, Manzoor Abdul Wahab, Bahadur Shah Zafar, Hakeem Nusrat Husain, Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan, Abdul Samad Khan Achakzai, Colonel Shahnawaz, M.A. Ansari, Rafi Ahmad Kidwai, Fakhruddin Ali Ahmad, Ansar Harwani, Tak Sherwani, Nawab Viqarul Mulk, Nawab Mohsinul Mulk, Mustsafa Husain, V.M. Ubaidullah, S.R. Rahim, Badaruddin Taiyabji, Abid Hasan and Moulvi Abdul Hamid.

So when you are unaware of certain things, don't make buffoonery of yourself.
If he was a British lackey, then Raja Rammohan roy, Sir Rabindranath tagore etc were also British lackeys. He was a educationist and did his job quite well. Indian muslims needed someone like him to lead and create awareness.Sir Syed a British Lackey divided the nation in 1867 with his Urdu language movement and later created a separate Muslim party All-India Muslim League in 1906 to weaken the freedom movement of India
Many members of All India muslim league were themselves former members of Indian National Congress. They fought for Indian independence when Sanghis were sleeping with Brits. So keep your accusations to yourself and buzz off. When Indian National Congress demanded for 'the system of government obtaining in Self-Governing British Colonies' All-India Muslim League backstabbed the movement again by supporting British who gave All-India Muslim League separate electorate for Muslims as part of Morley-Minto Reforms in 1909.
When Indian National Congress started fighting for Purna Swaraj (Complete Independence of India from British rule) in 1929, another British lackey Sir Muhammad Iqbal (note the "Sir" title again) back stabbed the Complete Independence movement call given by Indian National Congress by Declaring the movement for creation of Pakistan in 1930 for the Muslims of Subcontinent.
I am not here to defend Jinnah, ask a Pakistani. When Mahatma Gandhi called for Quit India Movement in 1942 , Muhammad Ali Jinnah called for Direct Action Day in 1946 again to subvert the Freedom movement.
And you have gal to call Mahatma Gandhi names.
LOL A Sanghi speaking about Gandhi
